Most likely we just use our 4 SEC starter quality RBs and all-world OL to steamroll teams. Ideally, we develop something of a legit passing game that uses Upshaw, Thomas, and Ali though. The Cummings kid from Louisville looks like he could play right away too.
Have a feeling Terry won't be ready and we may have to let Allen step in. Could be a good situation, though. A guy with a big, accurate arm but used as a game manager is kind of perfect for this offense. Pound the ball then hit some big plays downfield with consistency.

I don't think they want to go with a mainly running QB. I think they want someone who is mobile and can run but also has an arm. I'd imagine they want to be fairly close to a 50/50 run/pass ratio.

Not really. Luca was a Euro level MVP with a ton of success with Real Madrid prior to the NBA. And he was 18. Trae Young is a ball hog midget who shoots terrible 3s.
He's 5th in the NBA in assists, while scoring more points and shooting 38% from deep (6% points higher than Luka) on all those terrible 3s. 53% efg overall.

I was more talking in general. Pretty sure you called Bryce Harper an "Icon" a few years ago and routinely say "X game" was the best ever.
Regardless, Trae Young is at worst an above average NBA starter for the foreseeable future and Doncic is a high level All-Star with the potential to be one of the best 3-5 players in the NBA. Sam Bowie never played a full season and Michael Jordan is the best ever. The gaps between those two isn't even close to same thing. The comparison doesn't even work as hyperbole

One is a good player, borderline All Star on a bad team. The other is a potential multi-MVP winner for a team that's only a contender because he's on it.
