Most likely we just use our 4 SEC starter quality RBs and all-world OL to steamroll teams. Ideally, we develop something of a legit passing game that uses Upshaw, Thomas, and Ali though. The Cummings kid from Louisville looks like he could play right away too.

Have a feeling Terry won't be ready and we may have to let Allen step in. Could be a good situation, though. A guy with a big, accurate arm but used as a game manager is kind of perfect for this offense. Pound the ball then hit some big plays downfield with consistency.

Stoops and Gran think they can go mainly QB run with a guy that just destroyed his knee and is still really questionable to be ready for the start of the season?

Yeah, no.

I don't think they want to go with a mainly running QB. I think they want someone who is mobile and can run but also has an arm. I'd imagine they want to be fairly close to a 50/50 run/pass ratio.

He's 5th in the NBA in assists, while scoring more points and shooting 38% from deep (6% points higher than Luka) on all those terrible 3s. 53% efg overall.

Terrible take. Luka looks to be a generational type player, but Trae Young is awesome

Not really. Luca was a Euro level MVP with a ton of success with Real Madrid prior to the NBA. And he was 18. Trae Young is a ball hog midget who shoots terrible 3s.
I was more talking in general. Pretty sure you called Bryce Harper an "Icon" a few years ago and routinely say "X game" was the best ever.

Regardless, Trae Young is at worst an above average NBA starter for the foreseeable future and Doncic is a high level All-Star with the potential to be one of the best 3-5 players in the NBA. Sam Bowie never played a full season and Michael Jordan is the best ever. The gaps between those two isn't even close to same thing. The comparison doesn't even work as hyperbole

There's also a significant gap in the actual quality of player between Luka and Trae Young.

The counting stats are similar, in the same way Westbrook and Charles Barkley post similar rebounding numbers, but the actual talent, impact, efficiency, etc is a pretty wide margin.

Luka's PER is nearly 32 and he's at over 6 win shares. Young's PER is 23 and win shares are half that.

One is a good player, borderline All Star on a bad team. The other is a potential multi-MVP winner for a team that's only a contender because he's on it.
