Shorts:

- Five years ago today met the wife at Currito for our first date, a workday lunch meetup in downtown Cincinnati. Doesn’t seem that long ago. Dinner tonight in the neighborhood at York Street Cafe.

- I haven’t been this casual of college basketball fan to start a season since I was 10 years old. If it’s going to become a tradition to embarrass and enrage me every November, then F it, I’ll just pay little attention until December. It’s not worth the effort to dig in to a bunch of ******** midmajor games. I’m watching them but not diving in as I usually do. I’ll get serious when the team does. Last year after Duke, I had a rage boiling beneath the surface all season and it turned me into a lunatic and prick all season. Not letting that happen again.

- That Iron Bowl. Jeezus.

- Couldn’t be more proud of Stoops and Big Blue right now. Great follow up. Could’ve been better, sure, but it showed me we’re in a good place.

- Knew that DT recruit from Michigan we had was good but no idea he was a Top 10-15 overall national recruit. Wow.

- Could live on an all-Kentucky musical diet of Childers, Simpson and Noe right now.

- Hard to ever surpass March, but December inches closer every year for me. Just a great time of year for socializing, work, sports and pageantry.

Robocop going from a movie about ruthless killing machines in a bleak dystopic future/satire of 80s economics to something on children's pajamas is something we should probably take a look at.

He's a top 10 recruit on the OL but they finally switched him to DT(the position he wants to play) and he's #15 and the 2nd highest DT. Crazy athletic for that size. We're about to have some real SEC talent on that D.

It’d be nice to know what’s going on with Xavier Peters.

that’s a dude... but he’s AWOL.
Without totally throwing him under the bus Stoops was pretty clear that he was having trouble showing up and being on time. Assuming that is still going on. One drawback for bringing a kid closer to home. He's a dude but at a position we have plenty of options.

Can’t say I’ve ever been put in a position where a woman has forced me into having sex in order to deliver an addition favorable outcome. Which is a shame.

Yes. The answer is, of course, yes.

After looking at a pic of that Schultz chick, I get it. Maybe not throwing a seat on the bench away, but I get it.

Would. But only because I might get preferential treatment if ever up that way and was to get in trouble. But mainly because she wanted a female lawyer to roll in the sheets with her, so a nice little trifecta would definitely be a strong possibility.

Only think like that to ever happen in Madisonville was a couple attorneys had coke / crack tricks they fooled with. Free drugs and sex for free representation, what a deal.

Pazzo's is closed "until further notice" ABC renewals were due Monday and the H-L article said the license wasn't active so I'm assuming that's the reason.

That, and it's been terrible for a decade plus.

"Sources indicate feelers are being put out on behalf of Ole Miss to gauge the interest of Louisville head coach Scott Satterfield. Satterfield currently staffs former Ole Miss defensive back Bryan Brown as his defensive coordinator, as well as former Rebel wide receivers coach Gunter Brewer, who holds the same position for the Cardinals. A source close to Satterfield believes he would no only 'crush it' at Ole Miss, but will be willing to explore the Ole Miss opening should he be approached."

Hope someone clues him in to the State cowbells.
