Just heard Kash Daniel in an interview - first time I've heard him speak

Reminds me of a billy bob Thornton type voice -

Looks like he'd be in a metal band

Should be in a movie like a Bosworth or Rowdy R Piper type role....

Up and at em this morning. Gym, 5K, Thanksgiving brunch.

Got my wife on my side on this one. She's equally pissed about the no wine situation and doesn't like a noon start either. Just a classy dame all the way around. Why I married her.

Best trip to the Netherlands by far. Those dudes know how to live. It's a shame that our country can't take some lessons from other countries any more without it getting political or "what, you hate America?".

Bernie Sanders took heat for suggesting we be like the Denmark, and it's true that it's a lot easier to make changes when your population is like 10 million as opposed to 350 million. But damn, just some simple things can make a difference. For example, in my neighborhood, everyone here drives around in golf carts to get around - there are no hills. Ride a f'ing bicycle - burn some calories. And public transportation - not only do they use it - everybody shuts the eff up when they're taking it so it's a peaceful experience.

Lastly, Dutch women are the most attractive in the world. I'm not sure it's even close.

Just dropped by to say that if you’re eating mashed potatoes today you’re a basic lil bitchboy, or nobody made hashbron casserole and you need to find somewhere else to celebrate the holiday.

Happy Thanksgiving, y’all.

Happy Thanksgiving, mofos.

Apparently during the move, our Elf has gone missing. Now, my happy *** gets to drive to WalMart and hopefully find a new one. If not, guess I'll just tell my daughter he couldn't find the house because ours don't register on GPS. jeez.

Golf cart investment this spring. May not need it very much depending on what goes in the new construction area by the parking garage. That's a 2 minute walk. Fingers crossed for a sports bar. Need one.

Speaking of, amazing how fast houses are going up. Still farmland behing me, but it appears that will be changing soon.

I fkuing hate a late dinner. Robs me of leftovers on the same day. Nothing better than eating early then warming up a plate around 7 watching football.

Out.

It's a family thing. Kids love them.

I've been walking the .8 mile back and forth. Boy, walk back always seems shorter and less memorable for some reason.

What do you do for a living, Wayne? If you don't mind me asking?

Consulting; primarily in oil, gas and chemicals. My current client is hq’d in the Netherlands, which has made the last two years quite enjoyable. Beats the last 14 years which, except for a 2-year stint in LA, consisted of working in places like North Dakota, New Brunswick, the Mexican border, and too many gulf coast plants to remember.

The population density of the Netherlands is 14x denser than the US. It’s almost like a lot of the things they can do is based on the critical density of population that leads to an efficient geographic distribution of services.

(Go grow some tulips and look down on the US even though you built your society on the first mover exploitation of the world’s resources and people’s, c*********).

Nice. Being able to travel to the Netherlands is what you would call paying your dues(dos for the gyero mensas).

The fact that it’s completely flat helps a lot too. Those dudes will ride their bike to work in all seasons - many 15 miles or more. But they’re not riding up a hill save a small bridge going over a canal.

Just finished first Thanksgiving dinner. Managed to avoid turkey and eat only honey baked ham, a tradition I have made for myself. Tried to eat small due to the 4 PM big dinner with the bigger family. Very unsuccessful, am already uncomfortable, FML. Might see if I can get away with just drinking liquor here in the next hour.

happy thanksgiving everyone!

Eat **** Carolina.

Happy Thanksgiving.

New rub on the fried turkey was a hit. Settling in to the Egg Bowl with first Christmas ale of the season, as tradition dictates.
