Winston looks like he’s a knee injury away from being three bills.
Maybe its the athleticism vs a izzo team but the defense looks far advanced for an early cal team.
I LOVE Maxey's aggressiveness. Cal, I'm begging you, start your three guards with Sestina. Rotate Brooks and Juzang for him at the 4 and EJ/Nick at the 5.

Great first half overall. I’m really surprised our defense looks this good this early. Guards can get to the rim whenever they want. Enjoying this. Keep it up.
Hagans, Maxey, Quickley, Sestina are going to be 4 of the 5 in the winning time lineup. We all know it. So shorten the rotation and play them longer together, Cal.

I’m going to harp on this all year long, probably...but Sestina can’t play enough. He provides the necessary spacing to get our guards room off the bounce and is a good defender, our most physical rebounder.
Though he's clearly well past his prime, I'd much rather have Vitale on color than Bilas anymore. Much less insufferable.

If it isnt Cassius Winston creating or scoring MSU just doesn’t go.

He should be Richards’ backup and that’s it at this point.
He sucks, but he’s tripled Sestina’s production so far. Good thing we’re loaded in the backcourt, because this front court is ****.
