- I know I had a few people hit me up about the Armanac finish. I’m dumping it today finally as it can’t get better at this point and I want to use the barrels again.

I didn't realize the price of heroin was fixed. Oh wait, it's not. And to someone else's point, you can still go to Downtown Vegas and play $5 blackjack. So what's stopping one of these "corporate" places from reducing the VIG on a Thursday night game to capture market share?

You ever just offer to take less for something than you should, or less than market says you’d get “just cause”?

Your argument is obtuse, and honestly I’d think it to be more likely the VIG increases before it ever decreases!

Ha! Most don't have that self control to sit at a betting seat/table and place one bet then wait three hours for the outcome. I they're called eunuchs.
Haha exactly, they don’t have self discipline, all about that immediate reward, sad, they’re called degenerates.

I like watching sports, no one would watch cards flip over or balls go spinning around if there wasnt money on it.

Just way more fun to me to spend it on other things. If I want that adrenaline rush I’ll go snowboarding at 60 mph, way better rush imo. But do your thing!

Just this week an Australian trust fund baby named Ben Ralph tried to make the Wynn open their nightclub XS an hour early just for him and his entourage and were told no. Enraged, he threatened the Wynn executive and his family. Wynn kicked him off the premesis, and he went over to Resorts World and threw around $200K in their nightclub for the privilege of having them do this:

And then another, calling out the Wynn exec by name:

That last one got the Resorts World exec who ok'd the message suspended.

It's actually an interesting question. Vegas tries to get equal amounts of money on each side of the bet. The 10% is their profit, they aren't " gambling" like a lot of people think.
So if one of the big boys advertised 8% juice instead of 10, I would be curious how much market they picked up. I'm guessing it would be sizeable.

- GYERO trying to be more political. UGH

- Anybody else play 14 holes of golf in 2 over par and still shoot an 86. Friggin idiot.

- I need to take up pickleball or fish more.

- Japanese tonight when the lady of the house gets off work? Miyako, Tekka, or Asuka?

- Redsox on a hot streak. LFG!!!

- I don't give a flying &$%# in a rolling donut about the WC now that the USWNT is gone. Taken from William Friedkin who is actually hilarious.

- Firepit PBR and Davidoff factory second later on.

- Not to end on a political note, but you JCPS folks with bus issues at least don't have to worry about rats falling out of the ceiling and landing on students heads like my daughter does at Henry Clay.

If you're wanting *real* Japanese, Tachibana is the best bet. School downtown is also very good with a cool atmosphere. Maybe even Osaka.

Whatever hibachi places you listed aren't Japanese - they scoff at that **** tbh.

RIP Sugano

That place was unreal for some Japanese food. They didn't even have an English menu the first several times I went, just had to point and trust the chef.

Sushi is one of my go tos because it doesn’t make me feel like ****. Indian, though delicious, is basically thanksgiving dinner everytime I eat it.

Our one night in London we went to an upscale Indian restaurant - now THAT was another level, nothing like it here

By in, you mean in stores? Then no.

If by in, you mean you’ll be in town and want a bottle without labels(again) and can come grab one from the three boys distillery…….I’m sure I can work that out.
Yes… I will drive wherever in KY to pick up. and don’t need a label… 🙏🏻

Much appreciated. Shoot me a text on Tuesday.

I think sushi is the most overrated cuisine choice of all-time …

EXCEPT before a big night out drinking.

Remarkably filling without making you feel awful.

I love my gay mayor of a Midwestern college town who lost a federal election before becoming Transportation Secretary.

That’s right bitches - Jim Gray’s #1 fan right here.

*India setback and likely to not return until September. Fraley out. CES took one on the hand tonight and it looked ugly. The reds are going to be running out the Lookouts opening day lineup soon.

Friday Night Randos:

- Could use some Last Chance U right now. Hard Knocks is great but I like my football teaser with a little more former Mississippi State defensive tackle weapons charges flavor.

- That F’ing Redeem Team doc pisses me TF off. Yeah lets blow Coach K for winning with Lebron, Wade, Kobe, etc.

- Was out sipping rum on my deck listening to Sturgill when I noticed we had a perfect window exit point/roof-sitting opportunities for my daughter to sneak out of with her friends in 13 years to smoke cigarettes. Not even mad about it. Rite of passage and such.

- As little as I can but occasional I’ll let my wife control the playlist as we drive. Is every ****** new country singer named Chase? Was GYERO a harbinger of the damage a Chase could do to a genre/establishment?

- The boulevardier is the worst drink on the planet. Never order it.

- Hoping to hit Pompilios for an early family dinner tomorrow.

- Next week- Nashville with my boys. I’m “Richie when his wife announces she’s taking the kids on a long September weekend to see her folks” excited. Haven’t had a true bros weekend in years.

Add on:

Along with dog-cussing David Bell at every opportunity, my dad’s retirement hobby is hitting local Estate sales and gobbling up vintage UK memorabilia. Dude’s basement looks like a Kentucky version of TGI-Fridays on meth. Any who, I naturally decided to shop at his house for my new UK den.

It is REMARKABLE the creativity and craftsmanship of the late 70s-to-mid-80s Kentucky Wildcats-centric artist. Some of these painting/drawing pieces of the teams are amazing. I have seen 5-7 Georgia O’Keefe level Jim Master portraits.

The rapings are *pretty much* over.

Whenever I get sushi from the little console in Kroger, I always bow at the little oriental man and say “namaste.” Surprisingly, they are usually appreciative, I’m assuming because they don’t understand our culture at all and/or are probably indentured servants.

Good luck at pompilios, wcc. Walked in there at 8 on Wednesday after football practice and they said it would be a 30 minute wait. Two of the dining rooms were closed off, with no one in them. There were two tables in the main dining room open. Full bocce ball tournament going on outside. I had two hungry boys with me. **** those ******** - never seen a place go downhill so bad. Goddamned Italians is the problem, as usual.

Lurker/Ft Thomas lawyer here. A bit older than you. Exercise and finding a new shop was the key.

Let me know how to find you. I live near St Catherine’s. You?
