Zodiac/Astrological Signs whatever the proper term is are such silly donkey doo doo. Not saying you all were serious but people who take them serious, post theirs daily on social or bring it up in convos I want to up and walk away.

For sure, we’re both born in this span so we’re the same completely and our lives will play out the same as the newspaper told us! We’re besties forever and MAKE SURE I never date a Capricorn because we don’t mesh like AT ALL!

Probably another one that deserves its own thread but that stuff annoys me.

-Being back in the Bluegrass is pretty nice even where I’m living. I used to listen to KSR every day but fell off over the years in KW. Back to listening to the pod daily after work on a dog walk or car ride.

Even bought a new UK UV hoodie today which I had kind of stopped wearing UK gear down there because sports, besides FBall and the high school baseball team, are almost unheard of to be honest.

Plus, having people from all over the country it almost always was a big flag saying talk trash to me about UK which after happening every day for years I grew really tired of owning dumb fans that thought they would out-knowledge me or win an argument. FALSE bubs, we likely know our team and YOURS better than you.

-No FBall practice or treatments the next two days so I’m sneaking home tomorrow night with the dog for some of moms husbands famous spaghetti and some hugs from the fam. Can’t wait.

So what the hell did C-Rod do?

Edit: should have included what I heard although it really doesn’t make sense for a suspension…. Involved with some boosters on some type of “employment” where income wasn’t earned but was paid WAY above market.

He had a job at UK and his boss wasn't making him actually work.

3 or 4 games for C-Rod. Ha. Lol.

Yep. We ready for BIG TIME SEC football. Maybe knock it down to 2 if we really need him and he’s “learned his lesson” just for good measure.

Vasectomy was interesting. Not terrible painful other than the initial pinch but having an elderly nurse come in and rub my shaved genitals with warm iodine before surgery and then a young assistant rub antibiotic ointment all over my shaved junk after was awkward/nice/not sure all at once. Makes you realize that I haven’t had anyone other than my wife touch my junk in about 12 years and that I watch too much porn.

Following up on the addiction talk a couple of days ago I’ve never had an addictive personality and that’s confirmed by the Norco I’ve taken today. It makes me feel groggy and weird and have no clue how anyone can get addicted to this. However we all know the people that are just wired different, do it a couple times, and are hooked. I’m not one but now I get to worry about one of my 3 kids being one. Guess the worry in life never ends.

Wish I did this during March Madness and not a beautiful summer weekend, but oh well.

- That video on KSR Facebook of Tim Couch vs Chris Stapleton in HS football is cool AF.

- Cracked open my batch 4 toasted bourbon tonight. I honestly didn’t ever sample it before we pulled them. Not bad, and possibly the best of the small batches we have done over the years. Canton Barrels >>>>Kelvin Cooperage Barrels IMHO.

- Picked up two orange curaçao barrels for I believe will be a barrel pick for Liquor Barn. I won’t go crazy with the finishes like most are, but the Parkers finish with these barrels is fantastic.

Hope it works.

- Scrimmage 2 for little man tomorrow. He has had a monster of a week on defense in practice. He is loving the bond we are getting by watching football, and I love nothing more than to pause games and break down what’s happening for him to see.

Wish I could get sky cam of his games. Maybe I’ll buy a damn drone thingy.

- The neighbors that we somehow pissed off at some point actually invited our kids to swim tonight. It was odd because they have gone out of their way to invite other kids and not ours, anyway……

The one HUGE plus they had on their pool not being fiberglass like mine is the width. Damn! I want a pool wider than 16 feet.

- Noticed our garage fridge just got light on everything we keep out there. Threw me off and was a very WTF moment as it’s usually full of capri suns, kool aids, cokes, beers and the wife’s cayman jack margaritas…….well tonight I went to load th cooler in my truck for the weekly chic fil a ice run, and I’ll be damned if it is t stocked full of everything including hamburger meat.

As I go to vent my frustration at the wifey, my 2YO storms out stomping his feet letting me know he did it!

MFer! ::angryooziface::

- Titans vs Bucs tomorrow night. Might catch that one from the pool.

Krazy, love that your dude is playing football! As an *elite* youth football coach love seeing the game grow. Lot of good programs in Bullitt Co too. Although we just scrimmaged the best program there a couple weeks ago and sent them home after beating them senseless, but I digress.

Regarding video, see if there are any parents that are into video and would want to film games and upload to Hudl or Coach’s Eye. Even at a young age it’s incredibly helpful for them to see and illustrate what’s going on. If there’s not, you should volunteer to do it…couple grand on camera/lens that you would have for personal use WINK WINK anyways. Drone could do for a practice but they won’t let you use for games…..kids get extremely distracted as you can imagine.

My oldest is in 7g now and has been fortunate enough to have film for 5 years thanks to a parent that’s in that line of work. But he insists it’s doable in much simpler fashion.

Anyways glad he’s playing, youth football has been an awesome experience for my sons and myself…

Some anecdotal lurker input. At that price point (100k wha!!), I’d look at the luxury brands instead. My sister got one when they released last year and has had it in the shop for extended periods 5 times already. Also, while I was bargain hunting (I’m gyero poor lol) cars earlier this year I noticed a bunch of them already on the used lots. That doesn’t bode well for a model just over a year old.

My experience with Jeeps is that the under the hood stuff is incredibly dependable. The engines are notoriously tough. However, everything else tends to have issues, i.e. all the technical features seem to be a crapshoot. I’ve had to replace ac, power windows, and had many other problems with Grand Cherokees I’ve owned in the past.

They are sharp lookin rides though…
Was looking at grand Cherokee not wagoneer. But I completely agree, I swore off jeep and Rams yrs ago but was willing to give another shot. after driving one it’s just too small, coming from full size trucks it just seems tiny. So looking at a limited expedition this am.

my next choice would prob be wagoneer since the sequoia will be a couple yrs before they hash out the new refresh.
If I didn’t drive 20K+ per year I would lease and not GAF since I know I’d be getting rid of in 2-3 yrs

-I still think we're going to smack Florida, and getting a fresh C ROD for the Ole Miss game won't suck. Oh well.

-K flag went up on the house this week.

-Went to the St. X game last night. Kids had a ball. Great atmosphere. Hard win over a really tough Owensboro team.

It's difficult to beat the value of a high school football game for the little ones. They love it and it's only about a $30 evening.

-I say it all the time, America needs football. Thank God it's back. It reminds that we still collectively have and share some values in this country, and are much, much better than our elected "leaders" like to tell us we are.

I’m so damn tired, but - hosting a barbecue. Basic ***** burgers, poached brats in butter/beer, mozzarella salad.

just snagged a 7 yo / KY 95-5 Rare Character Rye, barrel strength. Distilled by Bardstown Bourbon Co.

my kid is being woo’ed by fraternities. I’m not gonna guide him, let him find his way.

he took a pic of Kiyaunta during freshman festivities. Shocked by the size…

95/5 from BBC is MGP product. I’m sure it’s great still tho.

Our boys best woodford county, and my boy was lined up at DT against the biggest kid his age I’ve ever seen in my life. I bet he weighed as much as I do only at 5’7 and 10/11 years old. Unreal.

Still won 13-7 with an INT to close it out!

About to smash some burgers, and pop the top on my first bud light orange of the summer.

Weed chocolate granola satisfies just about every craving I have in my life
Deuce, that sounds pretty good. Do you have a secret link you can share?

Speaking of weed, after I put the kids down last night, I decided I needed to travel to a different place, so I ingested four Boosts. Way too much, obviously, but for a one time and discrete (and healthy) departure from reality, well worth it.

My physical body was pretty much inoperable and glued to a recliner. But my mind was wide open and really reaching some new heights. Achievement of clarity, etc. I wrote down my thoughts in real time, so as to preserve my clarity, and allow me to come back to it.

When I reviewed my notes this morning, I realized that I am a complete dumbass. Absolutely nothing made sense, rambling, illogical, etc. Much like that weird rambling post I made last night, which was horrible, and also a byproduct of this sojourn, or at least its early part.

In any event, what may be important here is the old adage about the value being in the journey, and not the destination.

Dumbass potheads.

I know this is a horrible idea what with the procedure I had done and the meds I’m on but I’m stuck sitting here with **** to do and I’m off work till Wednesday so I’m not really sure it’s reasonable to expect me NOT to drink these tequila cocktails.

Ronald - i know that RIGHT NOW we're separated by many miles and possibly even a time zone or two - and the fact that we "don't know one another at all" & and "have never met" may factor in for less enlightened ppl --

but i gotta say - i FEEL like I am somehow uniquely qualified to assist, guide and support you with life's occasional Kerfluffles & chemical oopsies

How do you feel about the medical use of LSD (micro dosing under competent and compassionate care fm a professional -- like me) --- as a means of -- just SORTING **** OUT?

And obviously -- this is a hypothetical/rhetorical question

BUT - I just have this uncanny conviction that if we met by happenstance - and we put on our TRUST BRITCHES --- a LOT of positive mentality health adjustments and whatnot would
happen

eventually
Just saying - peace out --

It’s good you mention that my friend. I’ll give you a Tucson story since I’m high on lots of things at the moment. Me and my friend and his now wife were hanging out in North Tucson (forget the street he lived on but it was near beyond bread on the way to Mt Lemond). Anyway he went to Boston University for undergrad and I went to prestigious UK and we were shitfaced at 1AM and ready to call it a night when he came out of his bedroom incredibly excited. Turned out he had a massive bag of mushrooms in his sock drawer that he apparently didn’t know about in his move from Boston. It was a very large bag - id estimate at least a 1/2 oz if not more. We had been in Tucson for a couple of years now so we both very intelligently deduced that the mushrooms “probably weren’t good anymore”.

So we both downed half and decided to watch the Borat episode we loved where he sang the song “throw the Jew down the well” in a Tucson bar. Halfway through I was laughing to the point of almost vomiting and realized the mushrooms were still incredibly potent and then began an 8 hour spiritual trip where I ended up in my underwear hiding in a mesquite tree at 9AM.

I don’t know where I was going with that but anyway to answer your question: YES. My business partner took an “Iowaska (sp?)” retreat to Orlando about a year ago. She was on antidepressants and was done with a very tumultuous divorce and afterwards she had amazing clarity and isn’t on meds anymore. We were all so impressed that one of my employees, a former army member that served in Iraq and suffers from PTSD went, and she’s been back for 2 months and feels like a different person. So I very much am on board with hallucinationogens as medicine my man.

I SEE you Wynn Duffy !

Sometimes you gotta dial up the deep, baby

Keep journaling, brother!!!
Write that **** down and make it rhyme

Then....if you don't MIND - email it to Rudd, Das Klown or myself -- cause i bet you may have something approaching lyrics for unusual music

And thats what were currently working on together - some - unusual music

But none of us are lyricists

SO - i see nothing wrong with outsourcing that matter to the gentle folk of GYERO

Anyone else here write lyrics like my man, WD?

Or wanna try?

Lemme know now ---- a'ight gotta go
Stay classy, chaps & lady
