-3 hrs of tennis followed by a dip in the pool last night...summer is here, gang.

-hope for humanity: prom pre party/potluck last Sat: well dressed, polite and appreciative kids.

-glad to see wyvern for a bit Saturday to talk music/guitars and such...our midlife crisis band is fixin to be *good*.

-at some point, golfer/fan or not, everyone needs to see a golf major in person...at a minimum head to Columbus for the memorial. Can't explain, just go.

^the W&S open in cincy is the only thing I've done I'd compare it to. Warm up for the US open so all the top players are there...and you can stand 10 ft from the warm up courts as they are hitting/getting ready to play. Also women's tennis pros are *dope*.

^only downside is the heat.

- I just love New Orleans. I mean, I know the Quarter is a tourist trap but it’s a much different and better tourist trap than most.

- Favorite New Orleans Drinking Establishments:

1. Laffitte’s Blacksmith Shop Bar - can just feel the history

2. Pat O’Briens- I don’t care, I could spend all day in the piano bar

- @IsRichieGonnaStart - you would have been laughing your *** off at the Blacksmith Shop. BBdK was letting it eat, rapping, drinking purple drank, pimpwalking, serenading, everything. Swaggiest I’ve ever seen him.

- Frenchman Street is so much fun.

- Just can’t do a big meal when I have any design on fun afterwards.

- PTI was pretty nonchalant with the second wedding date. Basically- if you want to come out to Colorado for some skiing and like a 15-minute ceremony, cool. Otherwise, see you in New Orleans.

- Welp booked for Nassau Aug 5-13. I assume the Cats will be there at the same time.

- I like Luka because he hates everyone. So tired of these ******** AAU “brothers” wanting to team up. I want teams to hate their opponent.

Test-run beach trip was a nice window into the next decade of our "vacations." While there were plenty of fun moments, vacation is no longer for the dad. Its just to carry things. Make sure all changing/evolving scenarios are set up. And not really speak about how much more work it is to take a trip than it would be to just stay home and take the baby to the baby-pool at the club 3 minutes from the house that we pay for. I naively thought that paying for my in-laws to come down so they could assist with the baby, meant they might at any point assist with the baby. Turned out it was just basically a nice little vacation for them too. But that's on me. You had your chance to be a permanent staple of upcoming vacations, but you failed.

Won't take long until you can relax a bit, take your eye off her for a few minutes, lose the diapers, have some early casual collides, and play in the water/sand with the little one. Doubt you'll be sitting on the beach until 3am getting housed with Anth, but still fun nonetheless.

@RibsAndWhiteBread - it gets better. For instance, I can now somewhat enjoy a meal out with baby in tow, but I’m not particularly looking forward to this Bahamas vacation.

Our Christmas trip to San Francisco straight up sucked. Of course, Omicron and the threat of never being able to fly home because of cancellations looming over my head contributed a great deal.

Women don’t seem to feel the same stress about bringing kids places from my experience.

You should be getting close to having #2 soon, right?

-Just got the email inviting me and my wife to the 18th hole house party for memorial. Went last year but the wife was pregnant so she’s super pumped. Have to agree, golf tournaments are unlike anything else. It does help that I will have all you can eat and unlimited alcohol chilling in a house on the 18th though.

-our kids are 5,3, and 9 months. The 5 and 3 year old are great at entertaining each other but either is good playing independently. Outside of one of them eating sand or sticking it their eye they’re low maintenance. Anything under 3 is a nightmare.

PGA at Valhalla in 2 years.
Tour Championship each year....US Open in Pinehurst in '24....Quail Hollow each year...FedEx St. Jude each year...Senior Players at Firestone...among others.

Plenty of world class golf events each year that are within driving distance of Lex.

-Went with our family to beach for SB, granted they're very helpful, and had an absolute blast. WS probably had a different experience because the 1.5 year old is tied to her hip but that will change as he gets bigger. She'll have plenty of spa time while Dad teaches them the way of the beach. I spent most of the day playing with G on the beach. Bocce, baseball, ocean, football. Started boozing around 3-4p, cooked some fresh local seafood, switch to bourbs around his bed time, passed out after watching some TV. For me, that's more enjoyable than laying there reading a book all day plus this isn't going to last very long.

-Vern lost our bet. Sharpe used us as a really dope safety net. The minute he didn't enter that Vandy game it was blatantly obvious.

What a headline:

"Vicky White, Casey White paid homeless sex offender $100 to book Indiana hotel during manhunt"

The murderer and his accomplice dont even come off as the bad people in this blurb.

On the flip, I legit couldn’t wait to get home and see my daughter. I’m an anxious traveler as it is. I don’t like adding balls in the air - such as a baby.

- Katy Perry apparently living in the Louisville area right now. 🔥😬

- I’m sure Brooks is well aware of the fact he’s going to be living abroad making good $$$ next year. Good for him.

A mid-30’s lady legitimately got pissed at my wife for asking her if her newborn was a boy or girl when we lived in MA. Her response, “ugh, we are gonna let it decide when it gets 3.”

Such a fantastic place to live and I only lived there for 15 mos.
