Did get a great deal. Love that freaking boat, just going to cost a few grand more now. By the time I’m back though everything will be new and replaced, as well as the steering.

LOL, "It is a steal at the price, only been out on the water TWICE." Well HTF did the steering go out if that is the case? Something is not right, or pass the Ole "smell test" as we like to say. You have been snookered. Mr. Obvious, have you looked at the title to that amazing vessel ? Not a rebuilt title is it ? Did you run a Boat Fax ? MAYBE they failed to mention one of the two times, they ran over something / crashed it and tore the whole steering, underneath of the boat, to hell. Daddy always told me "Son if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is" ATKOT. Good luck, usually steering is not something covered under insurance, so maybe you will, maybe you will not be "OK". Never like to see someone lose money, even you, but your nonstop bragging and flexing about the boat, it was inevitable something bad was going to happen. Look on the bright side, Scoot-Scoot is still purring along,,, right ? Just forget about it, free your mind, take your dog for a cruise on the Scoot-Scoot and all will be right.

As you know I bought my boat back in March, had until Aug 1 to legally have the name and Port Of painted on the back. It's Sept now and still no name.
My worst mistake was telling my buddies that I had to name it.
For the last 6 months, I've received text daily with the dumbest names possible.

My boat is Black and I have a red beard so considering Black Falcon as it’s name since that was the name of Barbarossas pirate ship. Red bearded pirates are pretty cool.
