Quick hitters:

-Woke mob with another scalp. New Jeopardy guy out for comments 8 years ago. Great work, team.

-Feels like every virus disease is flaming right now. Know people with all kinds of ****. HFM, mono, strep, stomach virus, rsv.

-Quarterly business meeting and steak fest. Can't wait. Suck it, haters.

-CC going to be a great coach. Patience is key. Plus you have an all star staff.

-Love the memory lane party talk.

-Sturgill album, if you want to even call it that, is just fine. Didn't realize he was involved in Killers of the Flower Moon movie.

-Movie night with the boys tomorrow should be fun.

-A 6 year old with a cast is dangerous af. He's clubbed me several times already.

-Made it M-Th with no booze. Pretty remarkable.

-At some point they're going to have to admit ABs from natural infection are much better than the vax BUT having the vax to blunt the virus is a really good idea. Ignoring this is really hurting the message right now because it's the only way out. Stop trying to protect us and just tell the truth.

-She's put on some #s since most of her pro pictures. Still not terrible though.

-Got a little work event coming up at French Lick. Three long *** meeting days closed by agreeable meals, and legal gamboling, less that an hour from KY sounds pretty good.

-Facebook group posts with either ladies taking obvious attention seeking shots OR guys not so conspicuously getting a picture of their girl, crack me up. Like, "here's what I'm grilling on my BGE" (angled shot with a REALLY mediocre chick in a bikini standing in front of a rack of ribs). "Am I doing this right, lolol" picture of chick with prominent cleavage, and glass of bourbon, followed by a dozen creepy replies. Amazing.

-Weekend weather almost perfect. 86/64. Shew buddy. EnnnnnnJoooy.

*Street party/concert tonight. 50/50 on going as I'm still not drinking anything.
Man, saying that out loud just screams alcoholic. I CAN'T HAVE FUN UNLESS I'M LOADED! Sad but true /nometallica

Still my forever favorite Drunk Bernie memory will be you and Big Anth walking up to folks in their cars that were stuck in the post game traffic jam in front of the purple lot tailgate, drunk on moonshine and dry humping the sides of their cars after the LSU beat down in 2007.

That memory makes me chuckle every time.

- We’ve spent the last year and a half covering our face and over sanitizing our hands. Infection is going to be through the roof for a lot of common ailments

- also a pet peeve of mine when parents say they have to babysit their kids

-but-

even more of a pet peeve when people overly compliment a man for being active in your kids lives.

-Turned down going to the 97 Bama game with my Dad to get drunk at my buddy's house in Audubon Park. His parents were out of town, and I just couldn't pass that up. Big time regret of mine. 15 year old jackass.

Your brother turned it down to go not get laid with his gf in South Bend, so there were worse family decisions that weekend.

Turned it down for Junior Prom, IIRC. Clark did we(or HR) have it in fall?

Listened to the end on the way to the party after picking up beer from a National Turnpike gas station(very reliable source for 17 year olds to buy booze with no fake id).

Drxman suggested a fb page to me called “boating unfiltered for adults.” Daily postings where dudes sneak shots of their ladies bending over, mostly. That’s followed by 1,000 cheesy *** comments.

“My little first mate just stood up and saluted hahaha.”
“There’s a boat in the picture omg I didn’t even notice lol.”
“Too much fabric in the way send more pics please hehehe.”
“She can ride my vessel anytime lol.”

Absolutely amazing.

Believe HR had theirs in the fall since ours was in spring- that's also where I was that night. And if you're talking about the Speedway on National Tunrpike by the Fairdale Moby Dick- that was also where a 15 year old Ribsandwhitebread was trying to purchase a can of grizzly wintergreen while a couple of the girls walked out with cases of beer. Obviously the guy knew what was going on but giving him an extra $20 and a wink seemed to smooth things over.

Once the automobile industry normalizes in a year or two and Ford figures out how to build a removable hardtop that doesn't suck, my Jeep is going bye bye and Ill be getting one of these "cute little SUVs" as a weekend ride as well. Have a customer who got one of the first ones and has totally customized it. It's a freakin beast and certainly not the Bronco Sport which looks like a beefed up Ford Escape.

-I always laugh when my buddies say, "Yeah the wife is having a girls night and I have to babysit the kids." If my wife heard me say that I would have even less of my balls than she lets me have now. Even better when a new Dad says, "Yeah, I don't do doodie diapers." Yeah, don't say that ISH in front of your wife.

- Maybe not a complete Stadium banger, but 2016 Georgia Game Pre Game was just stupid. Black out, Pom Poms handed at the door, everyone in their seats getting rowdy BEFORE kickoff and boom, Phil Collins In The Air Tonight drops, faded into We Will Rock You, and ended with the entrance music being Lose Yourself. If there was a roof on Commonwealth Stadium it would have been blown off the ***** that night. Just knew we were going to beat the Bulldogs and get the 6th win of the season that night.

Lost by 3. F You Georgia.

-Oh, and congrats on your future nuptials @PTI (pti) . A lot of people lost money on that bet.

I mean, it was National Turnpike, rules aren't the same there, so obviously you have multiple options. That little bar at Outer Loop, shew. This was the gas station next to Yorktown North, right over the tracks. $5 extra on a Natty Ice purchase did the trick.

Was a freshmen at College of Charleston. We had a date party that night at a bar. Because I was a pledge I had to work the party.

That game was not televised but I kept seeing the score flash on the ESPN2 ticker. Was about to go insane as the actives would not let me leave to hop in my pledge brother’s car and get a signal from 840 WHAS, which I could at night.

Parents mailed me a VHS copy of the delayed UK broadcast with Rob Bromley and Derrick Ramsey so I could watch The Deuce get loose against Bama.

* Just bought a bottle of KY Owl Confiscated to celebrate my last night of being 48.

* I cannot wait for College Football. I want a ranked UC or Michigan in a bowl game. Assuming we lose a close one to Bama in Atlanta, of course.

* If Tisdale had a gun, he should be dismissed immediately. Everyone else should be good to go.

But, we are getting closer and closer to being a real SEC team.

* The Reds will pass the Padres, but I don't like the Cards lurking right behind them.

* The kids loved Jungle Cruise. I thought it was pretty good, too.

* What's new, PTI? Things going well?

* Big HS football game up here tonight... Elder vs Cov Cath. I hate them both, but I gotta root for the Fighting Annekens in this one.

* About to become a great uncle again. Like, any minute.

* Speaking of great... Happy Friday, GYERO. Have a great weekend.

  • Cuban neighbor lady swears that my Kenji-based-scratch Mojo marinade may be nice and all, but every respectable family recipe begins and ends with this stuff.

  • She bought me a bottle and I got a shoulder immersed in this marinade to be smoked tomorrow morning.
  • High Life grenades in fridge to assist the barbecue process
  • Backup OF1920 purchased
  • Stop rushing my beautiful August dog-days away. Best part of the year, actually.
  • Hoping to get Down Home picks into NYCs nerdiest Whiskey store. Working on it.
  • Gonna buy some decent cognac to enjoy with cigar. Through The Grapevine offerings are on my list.
  • Wife needs to get a job, because my company’s health insurance is incredibly ******.
  • BTW: Son passed driving test.
  • Yanks coming on strong.

That criollo marinade is dashiz. I prefer it on chicken or seafood.

Speaking of great uncles, mine has been in the icu since last week. Asked the doctors this morning to stop treating him and just make him comfortable. I've not spoken to him a lot in recent years, but admired the hell out if him as a youngster.

/memorial post/
He played ball under Rupp at UK for a year before joining the Navy during the Korean war. Came back and started up an insurance company where he spent most of his free time fishing and golfing in tournaments.

He was as competitive as wodie, but more of an SAE type with his slacks, loafers, and sweater. Always had the family dinner on Christmas Day at his house and during the summers I would go over to swim in his pool.

Huge UK fan, hated UL and IU with a passion. I got cash and a UK hat or shirt from him on birthdays and Christmas. He set me up to meet Rick Pitino and get an autographed ball in 1992 (it's personalized to me and my name is spelled wrong) uncle Jackie was big part of my love for the Cats.

Glad I got to know you Jack Terrill Jr. Go easy.

God she was horrible. For being a smart dude always with plenty of options, he was the most P whipped young man I've ever seen. With every girl. Kinda strange.
