Hard crowd tonight. No one getting fired up? Oh well. I’ll finish this second bottle of cheap cab by myself, munch the **** out of some zyn pouches, and go to bed lonely, as usual. The tree frogs are putting off a symphonic cacophony, at least.
I for one am glad to be getting some bonus Wynn this week.

Welp. Goddammit.
Got kneecapped by one of the lil’ sluggers tonight - in a crouch. Luckily it got my platellar tendon and just a smidge of the top of my tibia. It sprung off the tendon as if my knee was full of Taylormade Speed Foam and didn’t really hurt somehow - _hot_ of the face. —What I’m saying is I might be an “Unbreakable,” like Bruce Willis in the film, “Unbreakable.”
The offender was the one kid whose dad/family is way too invested at this point, IMO: “You better hit it to the grass!”
For next week, I really need a gameplan for keeping myself out of his line of fire but not making it so obvious that the parents shower us in raucous laughter and make the kid feel bad. It is a running gag at this point and there is genuine bloodlust excitement for the fans now - palpable.
But hey, that’s just the pressure that comes with catching big time teeball /coach pitch. It’s not for everyone, but I’m built for it (an “Unbreakable.”)

Yes the outdoor bar directly facing the gulf the direction the storm is coming will be open. We will be serving drinks in iron mugs so they don’t go flying off into the abyss. I’m definitely going to ride my scoot scoot through 40-60mph winds and driving rain so you can have another bud light.
Ill be with some friends and dogs having some drinks and watching the storm like any normal person would do.

I have a friend who works in a local ICU. 30 current Covid cases there - 28 unvaccinated, 2 vaccinated but immuno-compromised. He’s pretty conservative (big Trump guy), but I think he’s about ready to murder anyone who spreads the anti-vaccine message.
I got plenty, come borrow a few, please!
Unfortunately, COVID will do that for him in some cases.

Maybe it’s nostalgia from King’s Island trips as a kid, but I always loved La Rosa’s. I haven’t had it since it’s opened in Lex though. I also love(d) Pizza Hut. Drop a slice off when you order yours please, UCL.
I do LJS about once a year, but don't start regretting it until my meal is finished. The next few hours are full of regret though.
