*If you are betting a large sum of money, who makes you more nervous as an opponent? My answer is still Jordan although a recognize the counting numbers just by sure longevity will favor LB.
*My daughter is contemplating a transfer of schools because she has become good friends with a group from our other HS. They are good kids so I'm fine with it. Neither HS is at capacity (really we should just have one at this point) so she is free to do so but must consider the fact that she has to sit out a year in golf. With what's going on at the NCAA level isn't is time to get rid of this rule KSHAA? Gawd forbid my daughter get to enjoy her sophomore year of girls golf because she wants to "attend" school with her friends. Would cause anarchy!
*Still can't get my boy interested in sports but he is completely obsessed with fishing...watches fishing videos, shows, is full of new facts about fishing to lay on me every day I come home from work. Worse things, I suppose.
*Chase and I got handicap whipped at his member/guest. That truly is a format in which CPG can come in useful. Although, a lack of understanding of the rules for the front nine and some really crappy play has to be laid at our own feet.
*I'm at a loss for those who believe that what we've seen from this pandemic is acceptable governance. But whatever, I have a job to do and kids to raise. I'll take my orders.
*I won't say I haven't daydreamed about doing something like jcrow is doing. Who am I kidding, the closest I'll get is the occasional all guys golf, hunting or fishing trip complete with full notice and approval of my better half and a payback girls weekend for her in the future.
*Who knows about this football team, man. I'll be honest, I thought we were past some of the dumb **** we saw the last two weekends. Guess I'll just be thankful we have it to watch. Does the state of emergency order give ANDY the power to change our unis? I'll tune in at 4 for the power K, promise!

Would be interesting to see if he has toned down his course antics to get to a 13.7. Hard to imagine being focused on the next shot as you are getting escorted off the links.

-Snakes never really bothered me much. I'm not going to go grabbing one but I've fine with a respectable distance. I run across them out at the shop pretty often. Eased up on my arch-nemesis, the common spider, a little bit as well.

-Feel like JCrow needs to take a deep breathe and focus on the bigger picture of his walkabout. Seems like he may have done that last night with the flight to Denver. Don't want to waste too much time wandering around the deep central US on your big adventure.
-Not a full blow Jerry McGuire moment for me but I have found myself browsing for **something** to occupy my interests. Not really a boat guy. Maybe an older car/truck although I have nowhere to store it. Last week was thinking a small piece of land with a farm house and pond/creek would be a good idea. It's not. A bit allover the place with the big lifestyle change incoming AND 4-0 staring me down.
Settled for a new pair of running shoes and a meat mixer for making sausage.
-This nonsense has relaxed dress codes everywhere and I'm really having a hard time getting back. I'm still in office everyday but I rarely see more than 1 or 2 other employees. I've made it through several days in the office without even changing from my workout clothes.
Anyway, Mott & Bow has helped with that a bit. Couple khaki mercer pants are accomplishing the comfortable but still somewhat professional appearance I need.

- Team "Peak" in the the old peak performance vs longevity debate. Applies less to LeBron because his peak is up there as the best of all-time AND he's got the longevity, but for the fringe cases it's not a debate in my opinion. Give me 8 great years as opposed to 15 above average. Yes, that means I would rather have Albert Belle than Harold Baines.
- Haven't taken a week off in 2020; may just pull a Crow
in December (minus the telling my co-workers to F off). - Only took 7 months, but I finally have the home office setup where I want it. Docking station, big monitor, proper camera angle, a mic that works, etc. Was running purely off the laptop since we started.
- Taking a year off on UK football. I'll watch the games, but I'm not going to flip out or get too emotionally invested (minus "The Shining" moment I had when TDT threw the pic on the Auburn goal line). I'm going to chalk this up to an odd year and give Stoops credit for what was the best two years I can remember in UK football history.
- That said, I'm nervous about basketball. UK basketball was my favorite thing from the time I was 8 until around 2018. Now it's just not the same. With this entirely new team and COVID, I'm worried this will be a terrible year for college basketball.
-Back in the office today. Got an email blast this morning telling us the executive assistant for our Division VP, who I’ve been working with regularly, has been in the office the last two weeks AFTER testing positive because her boss deemed her too essential. All hell is breaking loose.
-My former company announced a couple of days ago that their shutting gown the corporate offices in St Louis and moving everyone to permanent work from home. The new normal. Doubt HCA does it because we’re in a brand new, state of the art building that the city gave tremendous tax breaks to to move here from Williamson County.
-I don’t give a **** about Stoops’ golf game or maybe if he had one too many collides and was told to leave the course. TMFS
-Jordan was the first black athlete that Madison Avenue felt was “safe” enough to market to America. Even Magic wasn’t considered that (and he’s bitched about it in the past considering he helped save the NBA along with Bird) and David Stern was one of the architects of building the Jordan marketing juggernaut.
-I’m a Kobe guy so I don’t really care for the Jordan vs Lebron debate. I don’t think you can go wrong building a team around either one. Everything else is semantics really and probably a “you had to have seen them play in their prime” kind of deal.

Could restore my 1983 Monte Carlo. Engine is probably in rough shape and I'd image the hydraulics are shot.
Where ever you adventure takes you, if you happen to end up in a remote Alaskan wilderness in a janky, run down school bus, be very careful. Some wild berries can and actually do kill you. But definitely keep a journal to live to tell about it all. Have fun, be safe.

My dream car is a 1972 Buick Skylark GS Convertible. They go for about 80-90 thousand fully restored. My Great Grandad had a non convertible one and one of my fondest memories of my childhood was rolling along down to the Minnow Hatchery in the front seat for an RC Cola and a cherry pie.

His all time favorite is Woodford, so tbh he's kind of a bourbon simpleton and so am I, but he loves trying new stuff so I need your rec.

He’s pretty much owned every single crazy badass rare/expensive luxury suv imaginable. Most recently sold off his 4-door Defender for $110k. Said it was gone in less than 30 minutes.

First car was an '85 GMC Jimmy (Blazer), 4x4 five speed. Had it fully restored with a UK blue body, grey trim and black tinted windows that surely wouldn't pass the legality test these days. The 4 Zeppelin symbols stenciled across the rear glass was just the right rebellious touch for a 16 year old.
Paid 3k for it and never had an issue. Would love to go back in time and slap my younger self for selling that beauty.

My uncle drove this car off the lot on late 1968, and my dad took over payments and ownership a few months later when my uncle went on an all-expenses paid tour of Southeast Asia via the Corps.
1969 Plymouth Satellite, big block, 4 brl, 4 sp, rally package, bucket seats, posi-trac, with some sly internal mods to boost the hp while keeping the stock look.
We spent about a decade doing a full off restore. Thing is badass in every way.
This one has the 383. It's show quality too, everything was fully restored or replaced. Dad still has the window sticker and purchase papers for it that were actually in my grandfather's name.
My first car was a metallic green 1972 Cutlass F85 Rocket. Paid $300 for it, annual insurance was $500. Car would scoot, had it over 140 mph on BG pkwy one night, scared me nearly to death. Sold it for $2k when I bought my truck.
Can’t wait, doggy. Destination Cold One City and a much needed Cats win here we come.
