No one is saying Lebron would be trash in the 90s but he is a ***** in this era with little defense I am certain that would be magnified once he started catching elbows
He is taking advantage of the modern day rules. You think he would flop and flail in the 90s? No. He would bull doze people. If LeBron is anything, he is a creature of the current moment.

I watch the NBA occasionally and the bitching at the refs is not something that even stands out to me. Flopping, just because it leads to an increase in boring *** FTs, does bother me. I think in quarters 1-3 and the first 6 minutes of the 4th you should get 1 FT instead of 2, and if you make it you get 2 points.

Michael Jordan/Nike did a helluva job creating his persona and the Last Dance was more of the same-- MJ propaganda. He was probably the best, and it was an entertaining documentary, but a group of producers could create something just as dramatic about LBJ.

Highlight reels and hit pieces aren't really good arguments either way, imo.

Had Lebron stayed in Cleveland, or even Miami, I’d probably view him different.

But he didn’t, so I’m patiently waiting for the splash brothers to get healthy again.

- Liquor Barn was a homerun! Picked 3 Toasted Wheats(and they just bought Dep’s) and 1 Toasted Rye which was unexpected but a pleasant surprise since I produced enough for Ky and TN, but haven’t got the TN distribution channel locked in yet.

Here is something I thought about during the game last night. When the Lakers clinch, Rondo would have won a ring with the 2 biggest franchises in the NBA, won the most titles, the Lakers and Celtics. Can anyone else say that ???? That is something to tell his grandkids after retirement. I won a championship in Boston for the Eastern Conference, then 12 years and 15 teams (lol) later, won one with the Western Conference Lakers.

The funniest part about "The Last Dance" - to me - was how it portrayed Jerry Krause to be an absolute turd idiot while dancing around the fact that he managed to build two distinct championship rosters around Jordan via shrewd trades and drafting.
I mean wtf drafts Scottie Pippen

In my mind, Jordan without a doubt gets two more had he not gone the baseball route- closing in on Russell.

He STILL has two more than James despite James chasing the best situation possible like a millennial *****.

And no, he’s not a POS but LeBron is definitely a douche.

If anyone gets overlooked in these conversations, it’s Alcindor.

Yeah... not so much luck on my bourbon list bonanza. Had OF 150 Anny Batch1, EHTBP and Magnus Cigar Blend in shopping Cart. When time to check out, the first two were gone (virtually).

lame.

Got the Magnus anyway.

Heard the announcers address this last week. One player won a title with the Celtics and with the Minneapolis Lakers, but Rondo would be the first to win one with the Celtics and LAL.

- Apparently there are no cliffs to be found in Council Bluffs, IA but it was good catching up with my buddy.

- Driving across country sounded good in the moment, but as soon as I got to my friend's house I said "f*ck this ****" proceeded to take a huge **** which clogged up his toilet from my gas station diet, and booked a plane ticket from Omaha to Denver.

- On the docket for tomorrow involves me wandering around Denver and staying at a hostel to be one of the people.

- Afterwards, Friday? I will be heading down to Colorado Springs for some mushrooms to gain a better perspective on what the f*ck I'm doing with my life.

- Haven't searched for any other drugs, but if they want me they know where I'm at.

Kamala is NOT dominating this debate and might have just cost her party the election. She makes Hilary look like a saint.

Sorry Chad. She’s awful.

I'll say this for Pence, an abject weirdo... He handled that debate well. I wouldn't say he *won* it because, like his opponent, neither one of them directly answered many (any?) questions, but perhaps more importantly he didn't lose it. He kept his calm, didn't allow it to appear like he was lashing out at a woman. He kinda killed her with kindness at times. There was no fuel to light her fire.

People have long suggested he's more dangerous than Trump (depending on your slant) because he's a lot smarter. He showed that tonight IMHO. A lot of psychological gamesmanship. His boss runs on pure emotion, very little brainpower. It's why he looked like a fool in Presidential Debate No. 1.

Not sure this really affected anyone's vote at all, but it was a more interesting debate than the two main codgers.

Pence didn't do enough to fill the hole that Trump dug last week. Both of them had bad moments of evading direct questions (Harris on court packing and Pence on the peaceful transition of power).

We REALLY need 1-2 more major parties. And make the president stand in front of congress once per week and have to answer questions from the legislators like they do it Britain.

A Marlins-Rays World Series would be so 2020. Alas, the Marlins are down 0-2 to the Braves.

Marikka's for dinner tonight. First time there since the rebuild. Paulaner Oktoberfest draft pitchers on special? Yes, please.

How'd you like it? One of our favorite places, even though I still get nostalgic for the old joint from time to time.

Not to say Jordan isn't great but like someone else kinda said, greatest marketing machine we will ever see. After the Bulls won their first title in 1991, CBS had a 2- hour All Star Comedy Salute to Michael Jordan. WTF did MJ have to do with comedy?

* This VP debate *SHOULD* actually matter. We have two 70+ year old candidates. One has COVID and the other (allegedly) has dementia. Moreso with Biden than Trump, but the vote is really for the VP candidate, imo.

* Kareem would *DESTROY* in the modern NBA. His skyhook is actually an ancestor to the modern NBA in that it allowed him to efficiently score outside the paint while clearing the lane and creating better spacing. And at a willowy 7'4, he could protect the rim without having to worry as much about getting physically dominated by burly centers.

Magic Johnson would also be an incredible power forward.

* Andy's wife is named "Britainy". Some people forget that.

* I'm cautiously optimistic about the MSU game on Saturday. Stoops traditionally gets his teams raring to go against coaches and programs that he hates. I don't have any reason to believe that he has anything against Leach personally but there remain a lot of people that would prefer Leach over Stoops in Lexington (possibly including me).

Wouldn't surprise me to see us put a solid ***-whipping on them and, in the immortal words of Eric Bledsoe, get **** right.

* I agree with jcrow that long car trips are incredibly overrated. If I had young kids or was bringing a dog, that is the only way I would travel, but other than that :airplane: for this guy. At least you can legally drink.

-Richie and I headed up to the game Saturday with two buddies. Woodford seats (non-anth). We hired a driver for the trip. So really looking forward to riding the domesto train with him.

-A Northern Ringneck Snake slithered across our front porch yesterday afternoon. About 10" long; skinny little thing. Completely harmless and afraid of humans. Interviewing realtors this weekend or just burning the house down. We'll see.

-These sumbitch cooper hawks need to get **** right and soon. Too many mice caught in the garage. A GD woodland snake just out for a stroll on a Wednesday. I CANT HIDE YOU.

-Obviously an anthracite/chrome out opportunity Saturday night. Really tired look IMO. Whatever.

-I'll take a Bucs/Bears Thursdee night unit as an appetizer for this weekend. Liking the Bucs -3.5 because the Chicago Bears are in the Indiana basketball realm of sports teams that never win me a GD bet. It's unbelievable. I'll never bet either again.

-Ordered that SoloStove Yukon deal. Pretty pumped about having my winter social calendar locked up. /rolleyes

-12:15 tee tomorrow. Scramble at Lexington CC Monday. Taking a client out next Thursday. Worship.

-Looked up our boy Stoops. Dude plays at a 13.7, which isn't incredible by any stretch but indicates the individual clearly has plenty of time to work at and be a decent golfer, which isn't that easy for busy professionals/parents/etc.

But, COACHES GIVE UP SO MUCH OF THEIR LIVES THEY EARN ALL OF THE MONEY THEYRE PAID IN OFFICE AT 5:00 AM AND DONT GO HOME UNTIL 2:00 AM YOU CANT IMAGINE THE SACRIFICES

These F'ng guys. I swear. My hat's off to them for the negotiating they and their agents have done for themselves as a profession over the last 40 years. Remarkable.

How big of an asterisk are we putting on LeBron's 4th title?
