The day after the Steve Francis Maryland game I told Heshimu that he played like a "warrior" when I came across him in the Student Center and he said "well that is what my name means." We both laughed and fist bumped and he invited me to play pick up with the team sometime. Great times.

Talk about different online personas from real life, I’m your guy right here. Half the time I’m just busting balls and trying to make someone mad with my bro personality, the other half is normal like the last story.

I’m actually a pretty laid back chill dude as a few on here can attest to.

Speaking of which, has anyone heard from Will lately @tommyg4uk ? Worried about him.

I think rogues a good dude, and an awful poster.

We shall bestow upon you the drxman GYERO Lifetime Achievement Award.
I’ll take it.

I want to thank my family, friends and most of all Boat for coming in the bathroom while I was pissing in some bar downtown and his big *** walks in the door and says, “Rogue!” Without ever meeting him beforehand. God bless, gang, god bless.

Speaking of awful posters, how the mighty have fallen.

Pti used to be one of the best in the game, now he’s the Chasey Lain of Gyero...just a methed out zombie shell of himself...swimming in the same contrarian circle as UKO.

Sad.

I caught a cold after visiting an awesome market in China last December. Glad I toughed it out and didn’t let a little cough slow down my vacation.

I used to eat lunch next to the 96 Championship team nearly every day at the student center. Mercer, Delk, DA, McCarty, Walker, Shep, Turner, cousin Mark...an endless tailwind of sorority girls and coeds...those were days.

This will get me nowhere, but I am doing it anyway....

I did shoot 84 with (and I acknowledge this) one mulligan on 13. Thats a long par 5 and I topped the drive and didn't feel like playing it after a 35 yard tee shot. I still bogeyed the hole on the second drive, but if you want to take a stroke and distance and say 86, fine. The point is still the same.

The course was brutally hard but not set up like it is for majors...the two dudes I played with play it often and said the greens weren't as fast as usual (due to rain) and it is about 600 yards shorter from the white tees we played (they only have three sets, black, white and yellow). What makes the course really difficult is if you miss the fairway and I hit 10 of 14. Had I not, I would have shot much higher.

With that said, when I play well (which isn't every time), I am a pretty decent golfer. I hit it very far for a weekend golfer (average probably 270, but if I poke it can get up to 285) and am good around the greens. I can't putt for ****, which keeps me averaging in the low 80s instead of high 70s, but when I drive the ball well, I can play with anyone that isn't really good. I drove the ball as well as I ever have and hit some great irons and knocked in a couple of big putts...hence the score. I fully believe that if I played the tips, with the rough all the way up (especially around the green) and the greens at full capacity, I would struggle to break 100. But the course as I played it, playing VERY well for me, and I shot 84 (with said mulligan).

I fully don't expect folks to believe it and that is fine. The two dudes I played with can vouch for me, but no one will care. I played it up on the show for entertainment sake and will continue to because its great content. Making fun of me is good radio, especially when the audience gets into it, which they have.

UKO still sucks and I definitely did NOT approve the black olives on the tacos

I smoked with cliff Hawkins when he was suspended one game at a friends house while watching the UK game.

Also did blow (rare for me) on Halloween at the Commons. Took a cab to another spot. My buddy opened the door of the cab and another driver passed us and took that door off. It wasn’t a good situation.

I then **** my pants because that blow was loaded with laxatives. Threw them away in another friends apartment. College man.

Also, Erik Daniels was dressed as Reggie Hanson. I was hammered and said you look like john Stockton. He didn’t like that. I’m an idiot.

-breaking 90 on that course is nothing to sneeze at.

-the righteous gemstones is a heck of a television program. Danny McBride is genius, but Keefe is the best character in the show.

-season 2 of hanna not as good as the first season but its fine. mireille enos is fine too, lmao.

Life would’ve been easier if you played the top, broke 90 anyway, and said whatever that score was; HOWEVER, you get more content this way.

It’s always tough saying I shot X, but I did Y, so it’s not really X but it was probably Xish.

-Some people just don't understand the reach of facebook comments. Take that horse guy yesterday who dropped an N-Bomb while replying to an NFL thread. Whoops. Bad Bad look.

-Didn't play but we visited BPB a few years ago, it's gorgeous out there. I love the golf score explanation post though. Those always go over well and certainly changed everyone's mind. Nailed it.

-mixed bag on at keeneland today, let's finish strong.

-Posted this in covid thread but if you're bored it's a good read on where do we go from here and weighing value vs risk.

WWATD?

What Would Anth's Trainer Do?
Curls and the sled. Always those two.

One thing I haven't heard MJ say is that he putted everything out. As Dk and 73 stated that makes a huge difference.

I'm a 2 handicap and usually good for blowing at least 2 putts within 4 feet or less a round if I putt everything out. So +2 for the top, +2 for the frustration of the top leading to a bad hole and loss of momentum, +2 for the 4 foot gimmies = 90. Still a nice round, congrats!

I once played Ko'olau Golf Club which at one point was considered the toughest golf course in the country (articles show a 162 slope rating even though 155 is the max).

I did not card an 84.

I have 3 brothers and we beat the everloving **** out of each other. If you have a single child he will get his *** kicked in real life by people that have brothers.
