I was in Syracuse with Adam, 73 and Bernie trying to avoid getting beat up by Cuse Bros and hungover as all get out.

Folks... Pitino’s return to Rupp is happening.

First was Cal and he speaking about a game in MSG and one in Rupp. Then there was the zoom 96 & 98 teams meeting officially hosted by UK Basketball/ Peevy. Now two of his players, Mercer and Turner, are in the 2020 UK HOF Class.

It’s all lining up. Personally, I think it’s a great thing. His accomplishments in Lexington speak for themselves and I try to remember him in a silo based on his time at UK and none of the UL nonsense.
If we've lost Richie on the Pitino Spite Bus then just take me out now, murder hornets.

The Pitino years were the pinnacle of my college basketball fandom, both UK & overall. I can never & will never love a team as much as I did those groups. Nor will I ever love college basketball as much (not even close on that one).

Nothing can ever change that. Sure, he’s a piece of **** train wreck at this point - but, I watch 90s clips and feel nothing but love & longing for that entire era of my favorite sport.

A few things can be true at once:
  1. Pitino can go F*** himself;
  2. His time at UK was absolutely incredible and arguably better than Calipari's; and
  3. It is probably time for the BBN to let bygones be bygones. Pitino is a sad, washed up shell of himself. He also left the UL program in shambles.
If we bring him back, I hope it is to celebrate putting Tubby's name up in the Rafters. Let Pitino come back to cheer on his successor and former assistant so he can't make it about him.

Can you imagine if Rick had stayed 10 more years. I often think about that.

Cancel out the Hongry and Buttf**ker years and just let it roll into the Cal era. Mercy.

If Rick stayed that long he would have either moved into the AD spot or into a supporting role with BB program. Either way there is no chance in hell that Cal would be the guy to follow him.

I’m just tired of that ******** interfering with some of my favorite teams and players. I’m not a grudge guy anyway but I don’t want tension with Mashburn or other Pitino guys. He hates Louisville now too and has been defeated and embarrassed. F it. Let’s welcome him back and enrage Louisville once more.

I just identify Pitino as the former UofL coach much more than I see him as the former UK coach.

So our learned governor has announced that daycares will reopen June 15 but with “significantly reduced” capacities. With no other explanation.

What the hell does that mean? That 40% of working parents can go back to work, but not the rest? What happens to the rest? Here’s your **** sandwich, maybe try some miracle whip. Thanks for the info, assclown.

Resting assured knowing that restaurants, gyms, and fu**ing campgrounds can safely reopen before then, but not the very places necessary for all of those other places to actually function. What a cluster.

I always thought it was weird that style wise his UofL teams didn't play with the unbridled fury of his UK teams. His UK teams were a joy to watch. His UofL teams were rock fighting slug fests. We got the very best of him. UofL got the scandle, NCAA sanctions and shame.

Also whores.

He also said restaurants can open at limited capacity just days after dismissing that possibility and saying restaurants would be sometime in June. It’s almost like he’s not making the decisions...

Sounds like a probletunity for normal daycares to
charge a premium and for stay-at-home moms open daycares in their homes to watch smaller groups of neighborhood kids and pick up the slack, IMO.

There’ll also be a small reduction in need. My mom used to watch our kids 3 days/week, now she’s going to come every day and we’re pulling them from daycare altogether.

I think it was the move to the Big East. I can’t remember too well when that actually happened, but that team with Garcia, Gaines and Dean flat out scored in bunches and were a totally different brand than his later years.

Not to defend him at all, but the years he had that group I loathed that MFer but they were good.

The “reduced capacity” concept is pretty comical. A business operating at half capacity is called CLOSED. You think childcare is expensive now? Just wait until they can only take in half as many kids.

Good lord, it’s hard enough to run a business as is.

Just give it about 6 weeks and the above will all be mute.

You were in Syracuse in 2010?

Wow, Chad is the Brian Williams of Gyero...

Pitino ball was the most enjoyable run in my
Basketball life. Why it makes his treason so much more insufferable.

Gelato>ice cream. Pistachio is a favorite.
Greater’s is good, nobody on the mint chocolate chip train?
pralines and cream>butter pecan.

Pretty day, dropped some bombs on the golf course. Chipping and approach shots were surprisingly good today.

Smoked a turkey on the Traeger, best bird I’ve ever made. Shew.

Four Roses OBSV, been on a kick.

Good hot tub weather this weekend, WTF?!?!
