I've got to think that Beshear's victory will embolden Jones; it shows that the right Democrat can beat an unpopular Republican in a statewide race. And, I'm sure he believes that Amy McGrath is not the right Democrat.

Bevin was probably the worst, most unlikeable, jerk of an incumbent this state has ever seen, despised by both parties. AND HE DAMN NEAR WON. Jones would be served well to pay attention to how badly all of the down-ticket races turned out. On top of that, Kentuckians don't mind putting a democrat in the governor's mansion, but sending a democrat to DC to mingle with Schumer, Sanders, Harris, Nancy, etc.? Totally different ballgame.

And Jones needs to stop playing the victim card. By talking about running, he's a candidate whether he's filed or not. Those rules are in play.

Far be it from me to question your legal knowledge of FEC rules, but I am not a candidate "whether I filed or not." I am only a candidate if I do...which is why his complaint is nonsense. The FEC specifically has a letter on file from me saying I am not a candidate and they agreed. Mitch probably should have checked on that before he filed it.

As for the rest of it, I am sure you know best what I should do.

Awesome win last night...I think we win Saturday as well and maybe get a pretty dang good transfer QB as well

It would be different if the show could stay on if he was running so the whole “look what you’re taking away from Kentuckians” doesn’t hold much water when you’re considering doing the exact same thing.

Yes, everything is so clearly in your favor that WLEX removed you for no reason at all.

Saw DJ Pretty Man J of the Justus Files getting out of a Tahoe on black rims very similar to this one.

Thought some in GYERO might appreciate that.

The average conservative voter knows damn well that Mitch is Trump's full back. He's blocking every challenge from reaching him. Bevin was a sycophant. He offered nothing to Trump but praise. Mitch on the other hand... Trump needs Mitch. I think people understand that and that would be Matt's biggest obstacle in comparing the two races.

Also, people citing the disapproval ratings... Mitch is unlikable. Bevin was almost universally hated. There's a difference. Even conservatives who dislike Mitch will hold their nose and vote for him.

Sounds like someone is a little testy knowing he got caught with his hand in the cookie jar.

90% of the dude’s posts are about you, Matt. Think he has a crush. Maybe send him an autograph or something.

Btw, anyone jump on that Whitney 14.5 pts total? Shew. I put $100 on it, but *really* wanted to do $500 -- just didn't have it in me to make that kinda wager against a kate.

That was about a 90% winner - just a ridiculous and completely unfounded number imo, especially against a sound/veteran Izzo team. Vegas is incredible, but they can definitely be had early in the season if you look around.

Also got Azubuike under 19.5

^I assumed it would be the Big Blue Bandwagon or something similar, with accommodations for everyone to jump back on at the appropriate times.

Yes, but lost the under 16.5 for Maxey. When he did not start, I thought I had it, especially when the game started out slow and hardly anyone was scoring. Then Maxey scored 7 in a quick spurt, I knew my faith then. Hit the under and under 74.5 second half.
