I think if someone told Montgomery about his second hand he might rebound a bit better.

Otherwise, great win for the CAYUTS. Not sure how good we are (or will be), but having a guard that can get his one-on-one is Step One to gettin' that ring, son.

What the hell was Quickley doing on those last two 3’s? He was good in the first half but goodness, he stepped into that one on the feed from a tripping Sestina and I thought it was bottoms...think it hit the backboard first. The second almost missed the backboard.

He always looks off balance to me when pulling up.

Apparently Hagans was banged up so I am not gonna gripe on him too much. But he has to convert those drives.

I don't hate Nick Richards. Just need him to rebound and block shots. Don't feed it down to him as a focus of the offense.

Our D was mid season level which surprised me the most. It just stifled their perimeter game.

It’s going to be until late December or until EJ/Whitney/Richards consistently produce that I will torture myself thinking “what if” regarding Blackshear. Shew. Could you imagine?!?

Counterpoint, if we had Blackshear the entire offense would revolve around posting him up and our 3 guards would never fully develop and get the freedom we need them to have.

I was actually pleasantly surprised and encouraged by our team. Maxey showed us what we wanted to see. Jr Nick Richards has even earned my respect at this point. We need him badly, and he actually looks like a ballplayer out there.

Our team quickness is off the charts, at least compared to State. We just looked superior at every position.

I thought we were the #1 team until tipoff informed me otherwise.

(***** bus time: i can't stand hagans at all. kid needs a real come to jesus moment or he needs to go try soccer. And get a haircut.)

-Pretty sure that's just who Hagans is at this point. That's fine. He's such a pest everywhere else.

-I thought Richards looked fine. Typical dick fingered a few, grabbed 4 boards, blocked some shots. That's fine with what Sestina gives us and if Brooks continues to develop.

-Going to frustrate a ton of teams with that defense. Best early season D we've seen other than 14-15. Was worried we'd see Winston carve us up in the lane.

-Maxey. WoooBoy. "I'm like that, I'm like that!!" That's some alpha nuts out **** right there.

Kellen Winslow plead guilty to being a huge creepo yesterday and he did so looking more like McLovin than the guy that was a can't miss All American coming out of Miami.

Which oversensitive female journalist will be the first to have an emotional breakdown over Maxey’s finger smell routine?

I’m sure that perpetuates rape culture, objectifies women, promotes violence, etc. It’s coming.

They were chalking up Winslow’s crimes to CTE, but his first rape (that we know about) was when he was 19. But some of the other victims (homeless people, 54-year olds) strike me as mental illness. Just messed up. Thankfully he’ll be off the streets for the next 18 years.

-pretty sure *every* rape is committed by a mentally ill person, wayne.

-msu is a physical/veteran team...and the result was never in doubt. I like my team.

-little sea bass and halibut in the sous vide last night. Excellent(thanks to anth for the guidance). First time using the toy...and i can see why people like it. Fish was *perfect*.

Man alive, if Brooks and Whitney can come along at a nice pace, particularly helping out inside with rebounding, look out.

Please work on inbounds plays. There was approximately 0.00% chance Whitney was going to hit that front end and that's who came around the screen for the ball.

Says alot about Maxey to show out like that on a HUGE stage in his first real game. Balls of steel.

I've got to think that Beshear's victory will embolden Jones; it shows that the right Democrat can beat an unpopular Republican in a statewide race. And, I'm sure he believes that Amy McGrath is not the right Democrat.

I think it showed an unpopular Republican can get beat- but I dont think there is really any comparison with the gubernatorial race and the pending McConnell election. Bevin was a special kind of hated by members on both sides of the aisle.
