Watching the local media go HAM on the Bengals would be more satisfying if, ya know, they hadn’t just given Marvin Lewis a 2 year contract.

At least that's kinda normal, we've been playing Tuesdays at 9, and some Wednesdays at 8 forever.

...but this Saturday's game is at 9pm. [eyeroll] That may have been fun 15 years ago, but that's terrible. Hate waking up and having to wait 12-15 hours for us to play a game on the weekend.

-Charles Matthews - 16.0/5.3/3.0 (w/ games of 31 & 28).

- I’m a huge warm weather honk but I’ve genuinely learned to enjoy winter. I can’t really explain it but I have almost a calming feeling when it’s cold outside. Cats basketball, a fire going, and some comfort food ——> Happy Place.

As long as the days are sunny I’m ok. It’s the grey dreariness that can get to me. Even during this cold spell I’ve run through the park with the dog 5/6 Days. He worships this weather. I’m starting to prefer running in the cold versus the stifling humidity we have experience in the summer.

- Here we go.... the grind of LEAGUE PLAY. One night a SEC team on our schedule looks like it couldn’t beat a DII school then the next night they’re world beaters.

- Like how Gilgeous - Alexander is becoming our primary ball handler with Green playing off the ball so we can set up Green for some 3’s . Gilgeous- Alexander being able to get to the rim at will adds a whole new dynamic to our offense. Dude looks so much more confident with the ball in his hands compared to a month ago.

Had 2 entire crews stay home yesterday. 1 crew was physically beat up from working in the subarctic conditions in Chicago last week, and legitimately was sick/exhausted/etc. The other crew just said eff it, too cold to work.

But today is almost 25, so everyone is back to work! The sun makes it feel like 30 though, so that's nice. :eek:kay:

Absolutely.

For the first several weeks, he literally went *nowhere* with the ball. Now, he's relentless. Also, he's got the Grayson Allen 'Jerk my head back as I'm dribbling and draw a foul' down pat. :eyes::flushed:

FT %

SGA - .872
Green - .840

[thumb2]

Also, can we stop with crying every time Weynen shoots a 3? That's what Cal wants him to do.

Oh, and he's shooting 43% from out there, good for 2nd on the team -- while also leading us in Rebounds, Blocks, and every other effort-related intangible you wanna throw out there. He earns his shots.

I don’t mind winter, but admit that I grow (and stay) insanely jealous of wealthy old people that just bounce to Florida December 26 every year and come home around April 1. Golf, happy hours, early dinners and bedtimes... Be pretty dope tbh.

It's remarkable to see the turn these kids' game can take in a matter of weeks. SGA legitimately needing the ball in his hands on offense probably wasn't what everyone was thinking (including me) as recently as the VaTech game.

Heading to Palm Beach with the lass next Thursday mng through Sunday afternoon. I’ve never been to South Florida so I’m intrigued. We’ve never done a winter mini vacation either so it’ll be surreal to be on a beach in mid January.

Highs in the 60’s...it’s an improvement from here.

Try the seafood man.

Taking a warm vacation in mid January. You make it sound like it’s a trip to the moon.

Congrats on such a “surreal” experience.

Poor choice of words.

Considering I never leave here in the winter, yes, it will be different for me. I’m also excited to check out an area I’ve never been to before.

Finally watched "John Wick: Chapter 2" last night. If you enjoy violence, that movie (and the first one) are damn good.

Speaking of violent movies... not sure what I was thinking but I completely forgot how crazy violent Robocop is. I remembered it as basically “Demolition Man” with a robot in Detroit.

Nope.

People talk about how great the 70s were for movies, but they made **** during the 80s that you will never see again. Just a ton of crazy, wild, weird stuff.

I'm still waiting for the remake of Howard the Duck. Lea Thompson, an actual star at the time, had sexual intercourse with a duck in a widely released movie. People forget that.

A true 80’s POS.

Leah Thompson had a rough Hollywood sex life. First she tries to sleep with her time traveling son, then engages in intergalactic bestiality...Shew.

- My New Year’s resolution of keeping poised and patient in the face of henpeck focusing on 2-3 months of two mortgages, kitchen remodeling, new house repairs, getting the condo ready to sell, etc is already being tested believe it or not.

Seems our 9 year old cat- who is already on prozac and we have insurance on- either has neurological or liver issues. Bloodwork and more tests pending! So much for our non-house spending freeze.

- Going skins on the beach with a bunch of Europeans while knocking down free RumDums was pretty awesome. Not going to lie.

- Used to love the conference road but our perpetual youth and the further deterioration of SEC officiating makes me dread it anymore. Oh well- bring on the redass!

- I wish Chase would just shutup.

- Back to the grind. Kisses.

-Thanks for the tip on the Roth IRA, not a fan as I overall have not trusted the direction of our country until Trump came along. Once he is gone I assume we will begin another torpedo path to socialism and 40-45% tax rates by the time I retire.

- BBdK is dead on as far as the reason for efficiency and simplicity.

Also going to finally meet and discuss what we talked about a few weeks back. Sorry for such a long delay man I should have had this done already.

- Heat is out and pipes froze at the office so I’m working from home.

The return on my really really extremely boring available to everyone investments have been crushing the last 4 years. Thanks' Obama and Trumpster.

Also, if you could hold out starting a nuclear war for about 5-6 months I'd really appreciate it.

Honestly with Trump running this country I encourage everyone to start a fast food franchise in rural Kentucky. I never really trusted IRAs and bonds and things and such until a year ago, when they finally became reliable and trustworthy.
