^ yeah, the drop is the one that stood out the most to me as well, quoted it in the GOLF thread.

Grounding your club in a hazard isn't as drastic as it sounds, imo...not often you can actually ground your club anyways in a ditch, high weeds, obviously water, etc. (if you want to be able to make an actual attempt at a swing)

Lolz...many of them actually seem that way when you've been playing by them & bitching about them for 30 years.

Going to lead to a lot of confusion on the course (non PGA Tour Edition) if implemented, that's for damned sure.

When Happy Chandler digs deep to get the "Weep no more my lady..." in his rendition of My Old Kentucky Home- waterworks for sure.

Also I maintain that other schools in the state should not be allowed to ever play MOKH at any event. Just because they are state schools doesnt mean they are *the* state university. The Derby's biggest black-eye is allowing inferior UL marching band to play it before the race. Its a slap in Steve Foster's face and needs to be stopped via executive order.

Geese kept saying the whole game "our guys need this" and "we need to grind it out".

I mean I guess so since we won but down 19 in the 1st half and down 12 in the 2nd half didn't seem like it was really going to happen.

Golf - I grew up playing here and there but didn't enjoy it and haven't picked up a club in 13 yrs. I'm competitive as **** and suck *** so when everyone is on the green and I'm stuck in the woods it really gets to me. Guess I need to get over it and just learn to enjoy being outdoors with some buds & frosties.

Nashville - I've had fun down there before for Music City Bowls and SEC Tournaments and I get it's a booming town, the music scene, etc, etc but I still don't get all of the hype like it's some paradise oasis. Plus, look at what people pay to live down there real estate wise and it's totally outrageous. There has to be a bubble coming soon in that town. Not to mention I could stay at a nice hotel almost anywhere in the country for a fraction of the cost for what I've paid to be on the beautiful West End Ave.

I do like hanging out with The Faithful and BJW's on Broadway before/after KAYTS games though.

Bubble in Nashville. :joy::joy:

You're talking about a city with a booming economy, in a tax-friendly state (no income tax), with a huge tourism industry, and a downtown that hasn't anywhere near hit its peak. It's also got great weather, is well located in the not-deep south, and has great natural resources (lakes, rivers, etc).

Yeah, pretty puzzling why people want to live there. Meanwhile, the winters in Chicago are awesome. Enjoy that rooftop and discount real estate in February!!

Did you charge after a dunder-headed Vandy fan or nah? Appropriate, if so.

Bryce Drew is going to be one of the best coaches in college basketball someday IMO. Same for Mike White at Florida. Future UK candidates? Possibly.

Sort of an interesting group of younger coaches emerging in college basketball. Archie Miller, Rick Jr., among others.

Good for the game.

PTI... When houses that would go for right around 325,000 or so in the St Mattew's area legitimately going for 800,000-900,000 in Nashville something will give. I get supply vs demand something has got to give. And, yes, I get location and the difference between Louisville vs Nashville.

Bryce Drew looks like a mortician in training. The "Eddie Fogler" look, if you will.

Black and yellow aren't great school colors if your athletes and coaches are predominantly white, which is ironic.

There are nice homes in Green Hills that are nice but not blow you away by any means properties that are going for close to 900,000.
