I think Cal should play Briscoe, Fox, Monk, Willis, Bam, Izak, Gabriel, SKJ, and Dom. Maybe Mulder against a zone if we're slumping. That's who I would go with. I would play Long, Tai, and Brad in blowouts too.

SKJ hasn't done **** to show he's a defensive presence. I love the kid and was pumping him all summer as a "forgotten man" -- but he's not a starter right now, get real. He does have a chance to be a real contributor this year, in time.
Stick with Ethiopian Food and Hillary Pumping.
This team attacks on both ends. And nice combination of vets and youth. Those are my big takeaways.
Cal has everything he could want with this group. The size and athletic ability is crazy, and there's enough experience to go with it
I stand by my Briscoe, Fox, Monk, Bam and Humphries squad I named a couple months ago. We just saw how electric that can be.
They just said Robic was a special assistant to Cal, basically trading spots with Barbee.

Absolutely the lights. Doesn't look like that at all inside there. We left at half and it looks weird on TV now that I'm home. The new lighting, board, strobes, etc make it very different in there. Thank god we finally have big stat boards.
I can only imagine what Creighton's backcourt looks like. Shew.
Robic doesn't like to recruit so I assume he changed titles so they could add an assistant with recruiting abilities. I don't think much changed other than title.
They also said it was his third season on staff with the graphic. Pretty sure they have no clue what they are talking about.

Briscoe is gonna play himself into the first round. Pretty pumped for that dude. His shooting is clearly improved, he's gonna be a perfect sixth man for an NBA squad. He took a disappointing situation and is doing exactly what he needed to do to fix it. Great kid.
Robic changed positions with Justus, as has been mentioned 20x this year/preseason already.

Robic took time off when his dad died (maybe?) in Spring and this guy took his place recruiting and they made it permanent in Sept.:
"Kentucky promoted Joel Justus to a coaching position while moving longtime assistant John Robic to an off-court role, the school announced Friday.
Justus joined UK two seasons ago as the director of analytics. He later became special assistant to Coach John Calipari.
John Robic has been with John Calipari dating back to his UMass days. UK Athletics
Robic, who has served off and on Calipari staffs since the 1980s, will remain the UK coach’s “right-hand man,” according to a news release. He will continue to scout opponents, help Calipari prepare game plans, do film work and “carry out special projects and assignments,” the news release said. NCAA rules will prohibit Robic from coaching on the court with players.

BBdk is absolutely correct about one thing, these are the worst uniforms in the history of UK basketball. Not debatable. They look f*cking stupid.
