Ragtime Music. Easiest class ever. The guy was a legend in his field, but man, he just didn't pay attention to what was going on during class. Interesting subject (if you paid attention), but it was a free for all.

Can't remember the name, but it was a summer course on the history of disease. Professor just strolled in with a Hawaiian shirt and shades on like he just left Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville full of Cheeseburger in Paradise.

Wake up around noon, roll over to campus, watch a movie, write a one page double spaced summary of said movie, rinse and repeat. Easiest class I've probably taken since 5th grade.

Kentucky Politics at GC with Dr. Klotter. We had Louie Nunn, Ned Breathitt, Martha Layne Collins, and Brereton Jones speak to our class of about a dozen students. Breathitt and Nunn were awesome. Team NF's. Talked about all the shady **** that used to go on like most people people would talk about the weather. Dr. Klotter's rule was no current politicians were allowed to address the class because they were not candid enough. Best class in my seven years of higher education.

Ecology 325, took in summer school.

I was a Bio major, stuff just came easy to me. Class was LOADED with babes, many of whom needed some "extra special study help." Got to take a bunch of field trips. Shew, that was fun.

I took a weightlifting class with a friend in college. Which would strike you as hilarious if you've ever met me in person. Some genuinely moronic people in that class. There was also a group of black dudes who did nothing but bench press.

In August of 88, when i started college at UK, i still used a damn typewriter on my first few papers. Starting the paper over or using white out tape when you made a mistake, lol. I think my mom bought a computer right around that time and was then able to use that for papers.

Louie Nunn, I liked that guy even though I never met him. When he was elected governor my grandfather was one of a few republicans in Marshall County. So, Nunn took my farming grandfather and made him county road commissioner. That lasted a few years until he decided to pave the gravel road that was his with county funds. Old Louie wanted to keep him but couldn't.

-- Keeneland yesterday with some clients we had in town. Most are the north east. Knew nothing. They didn't even realize you bet on real horses. Not sure if it's been said here, but time flies when you're out there.

-- A guy from Nike and 5 people from Under Armour. All cool but Nike dude hates Under Armour people #because. Under Armour didn't give one **** about Nike.

-- Ended up downtown with three girls from Ann Taylor (flew in from New York) and two of the dudes from Under Armour (flew in from Baltimore). Needless to say, Lexington is a little different than there but they loved it. Ended up smashed, rolled out around 4am and back to work at 8. Not good.

-- 280sf apartment for one girl in NYC - $2000/month.

Art History 101 - prof was a stoner and would just roll in and talk about stuff. Tests were open book. Basically just had to match whatever was on the screen with the picture in the book and right it down.
EMT Training - 7 credit hour course, 2 days a week. Old dude that taught it just liked to tell stories for the most part. We had to learn CPR and basic first aid but this wasn't mind blowing.

Lol, Jesus. Wasn't comparing the cities in terms of taking a vacation or their quality. Chicago is awesome, for the 5th time, just slightly overrated in my opinion.

However, UK games/Events with the crew are indeed more fun in Atlanta than Chicago (which is what my post said) -- that isn't debatable in my experiences.

My Art History classes were ridiculously hard… and I had to take them.

The prof would just ramble on and on and show slides and then you would have 2-3 difficult exams about it per semester.

Took a theater class where the final was a play we performed about 10 times.

Auditioned for a part with 2 lines and chilled all semester while everyone else practiced. I may have painted a couple props too.

Walked from the United Center after UK's mashing of UCLA back to some restaurant downtown at night. Never once felt in danger.

I felt more uneasy going to MOTO the night before in the warehouse district. Thought the Cabbie was planning on killing us.

Didn't Rahm just offer Tommy his highest lobbying position after he's transformed Nebraska over the past month?

I'll stand by my assessment that Brad Stevens is wasting his time in Boston. He did an exceptional job this year, and the best that sorry *** outfit could muster is a first round exit in a bad eastern conference.

Just dont understand why he'd waste his formative years with such a middling franchise. If they don't load up in free agency this offseason, or magically turn all those draft picks into a couple star players, then why is he there? He's way too talented to super duper overachieve his way into a 45 win season.

-Taking a pilates class after being surrounded by dudes for 4 years in the military was nice :cool2:. The next semester my shiatsu massage class was money as well.

*Disclaimer: I did not have to warn my massage partners about a possible boner.

Watched Naked and Afraid last night. That show just baffles me. Sounds pretty much completely miserable, not sure why anyone would really volunteer to do that. So the pair last night was a former green beret, who was quite well prepared to handle the situation. The chick, not really sure she contributed much. They ate grubs, snake, catfish, and a tape worm infested cayman.

They survive the 21 days, then do a follow up, and both got Leishmaniasis. His ear is totally jacked up, and she had just had multiple excisions. Months and months of antibiotics still to go. Awesome.

Could see this possibly appealing to Adam or Pti, but that's really about it.

If you don't like those nuggets slathered in the Polynesian sauce, I don't know what to tell you. Other childish foods that I adore:

Mac n Cheese outta the box.
Grilled Cheese
Kool Aid
Nutter Butters (sounds like a gay porn lol)

Those are some treats. I'm 32 years old.

Stopped by a Freddy's in Bowling Green a few weeks ago.

Much better than Culver's or Steak-n-Shake by a considerable margin, IMO. If they dropped one of those In Lex.... sayyyy where that stupid Petro's Chili & Chips is off Tates Creek/MOW? It would crush. As an aside, I have no idea how that effing place is still open. It's been there for several months and there is NEVER anyone there. I don't get it.

Our company does a lot of distribution for UA. The AT DC is down the street from where I currently work.

Stand-up comedy. It was a Thursday night elective. Every week you had to bring something(a video clip of a famous comedian, etc.) of something and tell why you thought it worked as comedy. Then you'd spend the rest of class working on your act. The only grades were 1. Participation for bringing something in every week, and 2. Actually performing during a show at the end of the semester. As long as you did your 3-5 minutes, you got an A.

(This is the part where I acknowledge that I'm not funny, have never been funny, will never be funny, failed in Los Angeles, am unfunny on FB/Twitter, unfunny here in GYERO, unfunny in normal everyday conversation, etc. I'm basically going B. Rabbit rattling off all the stuff so that Papa Doc has nothing left to say.)

Petro's is still open because they serve chili, chips, and baked potatoes and only have 1 employee working. I've actually went there a few times and their baked potatoes are pretty good, I get one loaded up with grilled chicken, bacon and queso.
