I loved my two polos but they literally only lasted a few wears. Have a light sweater that's the same.

They've got a good thing going, and a very simple/clean look, but they have to upgrade the quality. Just awful.

Sportscenter is just soooo bad now. It's barely hanging onto its spot in my rotation as the ultimate background noise/viewing show.

Maybe it's a generational thing, but the show peaked with funny/cleaver mid 40s athlete types going thru last nights highlights. Now it's hot dumb 20 millenial chicks reading twitter feeds. Ugh.

I don't know how anyone can watch Sportscenter now. It literally drills a hole in my brain with all the fluff and the graphics are seizure-inducing.

-Anyway, I thought it was a good question. Crazy how many people you were really close to just fall right off after that time is up. The 2 that I'm still friends with after HS weren't even in my main circle of friends.

-Little man is balls to the walls. It's a lot and hilarious at the same time. Dude is fearless. Fast as ****. Please don't need stitches:pray: on my watch.

-Speaking of wine and sommeliers, going on 10 years since we went to Napa. Yikes. That would be a wodie couples trip. Need to book that sh*t. It's been drunkingly planned about 10 times with the bellydancers but I'd say that is very unlikely with #2 in the chamber.

-So Kimmy Schmidt is back? Nice. Season 1 started a little slow but ended up being really good. Looking forward to that.

-SC peaked with Patrick and Olbermann. "Rauf, Rauf, Rauf is on fire!!! Ok let's check in with NASCAR to see where Dick Trickle finished."

-Anyone tried Pasta Garage?

- The Elizabeth Holmes chick from Theranos was turbo nervous in her NBC interview. She's basically about to lose a billion dollar fortune, and possibly go to jail (but unlikely with the company's political connections). Crazy story. Hard to tell if this is the government protecting their vested interests, or fraud by the startup. Probably a combination of both.

- Eric C. Conn really is a con. Shocking. Probably not the best idea to take money fraudulently from the government.

- Speaking of cons, I got a speeding ticket in the mail yesterday from my trip to DC a few weeks ago. 62 in a 50. I was on 295, which I thought I was I-295...nope, apparently it's DC-295, a 3 lane highway with a 50mph speed limit. What a scam. Not even sure I saw a speed limit sign anywhere. Biggest speed trap in the country, and not much you can do about it, except pay the fine. The cameras are set to trigger at 5mph over.

Here's a list of D.C.'s top ten money-earning speed camera locations in 2012:

1.) Location: DC 295 SW .7 miles s/o Exit 1 S/B{}{}{}{}{}{} # of tickets issued: 92,441 {}{}{}{}{} Revenue: $9,207,186

2.) Location: DC 295 SW .3 miles s/o Exit 1 n/b{}{}{}{} {} # of tickets issued: 68,958 {}{}{} {} Revenue: $6,645,969

3.) Location: 600 blk New York Avenue NE w/b{}{}{}{}{}{} # of tickets issued: 56,493 {}{}{}{}{} Revenue: $5,407,835

4.) Location: DC 295 NE under Benning Rd n/b{}{}{}{}{} # of tickets issued: 46,182 {}{}{}{} Revenue: $4,933,136

Waze has those all geo-tagged for future reference. It would also help with your navigational error.

Tuesday Randos:

- First Monday like that in awhile. Friday was a helluva lot of fun. Lass had a college friend in town from Boston who wanted to experience a little Kentucky so I had been looking for a bus trip to Keeneland forever. Found one from the Cincinnati Sports League (young professionals organization for kickball and such, basically), which was $75/per. ABH hooks me up with a rec from his old stomping ground- the Saddle Club. $45 which includes all alcohol and admission. Plus, they hooked us up with Servattis sandwiches. The bartenders are literally walking down the aisles on the way down serving bloodies and mimosas. It was awesome. Perfect weather. We ended up bringing a crew of 8 down. Most fun I've had at Keeneland in forever. Already hammered, made the silly decision to go karaoke when we got back, so ended up drinking from 9:30am to midnight. Not smart.

Always funny how quickly the day goes at Keeneland.

- It's amazing to me just how many people are unaware that Kentucky is just across the river from Cincinnati. Her friend had no idea, and I've heard the same thing from quite a few people.

- Is it just me or does Evan Daniels never actually say ****? He was on Jones' podcast for 40 minutes and didn't say a damn thing. I understand you guys don't like to make predictions, but it's your job.

- Best polo I've ever owned is some lightweight almost mesh Polo polo that I picked up at Value City 10 years ago for $30. Have never been able to find another one. Perfect fit. Perfect material. Only problem is that it's canary yellow. There are a lot more options today than when we first had this discussion in GYERO back in 2006, but I still feel there's a big hole in the market in high end sports apparel. It's still difficult to find a good UK buttondown or polo. I guess Southern Tides has the best polo I've seen. Good thing I'm more of a t-shirt guy anyway.

- Still best buddies with the same dudes from kindergarten and second grade. Really tight with a bunch from college and right after college as well. The only part of my life where I'm not is my high school buddies. Great dudes but the guys that got married early on.

- So, what's the consensus, parents- daughters or sons? I know most dudes usually hope for a son, but I've always thought the relationship between daughters and dads was really cool. Three of my best friends either have baby girls or have one on the way. Imagine it changes your perspective a bit.

- We're hitting up Sonoma for a day when we head out west. Her brother claims Napa is too touristy. I have no idea, of course.

- Kimmy Schmidt is back. I think Bloodlines is back soon. And GOT starts again on Sunday. Good time for TV.

- Hamidou Diallo, who Cal has been on for awhile, blew up this weekend. 6'5" athletic freak. Sounds like a better version of Archie Goodwin. Recruiting rounding into shape. Hope UK can lockdown that Trae Young/Michael Porter duo, Diallo and either Vanderbilt or Kevin Knox, along with an elite big.

Why would you use Waze driving around Lexington? Doesn't it get on your damn nerves?

I pretty much loathe having to use GPS at *any* time, which I have to daily when out inspecting homes. I get the value for long trips, but around the town you live in when just driving around?

Don't have daughters, but with boys you get 30-minute discussions about how best to fit body parts/functions into the names of beloved Star Wars characters. If you thought "Jabba the Butt" would be the most popular, well, you'd be right. "R2peepoo" and "Poop Skyfarter" were also big hits.

B/c actually all of my tickets have come from me driving around town and if I'm driving to a meeting in Lex I use it as GPS or to avoid Lexington's famous traffic issues.

A state trooper I grew up with told me it isn't enforceable. I got one in Orlando, going nine miles over, sent it back with a F off in black sharpie. Never heard from them again. Didn't show up on the credit report or get anything else from them.

I read somewhere that daughters are, on average, $200,000 more expensive to raise than sons. Mostly because of clothes. And that doesn't include weddings, which run about $40,000 a pop.

Also, I have 3 daughters!

My daughter wears the same UnderArmour stuff my son wears so you're numbers are damn dirty lies and have no place in GYERO.

Well sons aren't getting any cheaper this day and age for sure. I know guys always liked basketball/tennis shoes but when did the shoe fetish with teenage boys fad start. My son has probably 12 pairs of basketball shoes and every boy he hangs out with is the same. Kids rocking a different pair of 200 dollar shoes daily.

If you have an open bar, food, 200+ people, rehearsal dinner and honeymoon good luck keeping it under 25-30k these days. Wedding costs have gone insane.

Shoes were our obsession from 10-14. Like worshiped. They obviously cost a lot less back then.

*1 boy and 1 girl.
Girls are more expensive because parents like my wife allows it to be that way.
-My son has one pair of Nike tennis shoes while my daughter has tennis shoes, heels, and two pairs of UGG boots.
-My son lets me cut his hair as long as I give him $5 he can spend on the Xbox or an app. My daughter gets her hair done at a salon along side my wife
-My son hates hats. My daughter has 500 of them.
-My son will never bleed from his ding dong. My daughter will probably have designer tampons.

*I've only had one ticket in my life. That was years ago coming back from Cincinnati.

*Supposed to have been in LA again this week. Work trip cancelled. THANK YOU SWEET LORD!

*I don't know WTF is wrong with my polo's, but about after the third washing, I always get a small circular stain on them. Most random **** ever.

*Once a cop asked me where I was going. I took his gun, and shot him in the butthole. Never heard anything back.

*I've gained 15 pounds over the winter. Anyone recommend a short term meth diet?

If you have 200 people that desperately need to be at your wedding and can afford it, I guess go ahead and drop $50k

Personal theory is the proliferation of only children has made it socially acceptable for women to demand to have their weird princess fantasies indulged.

Well, the hell with them. If you let your kid have 12 pairs of $200 shoes, that's on you.

I got a ticket a month or so ago, in a ******** hidden school zone, and had to go down to the courthouse to pay it. Wow. Think it's maybe the 2nd time I've been in that building...what a depressing place.

90% of the low-level attorneys down there walking in and out & hustling around to represent that scum seem pretty much dead-on Saul Goodman, when he was doing the courthouse lawyer stint...am I wrong?

We got married in a small town, didn't have to pay for the church, the reception location was $75 an hour and our wedding was still probably $7k+. It doesn't surprise me at all that a wedding in the city could run $30k.
