I concluded after watching it that I would loathe wine after studying for that exam. Those dudes are spending 14-15 hours a day preparing for it. It's like the Bar Exam on steroids.

Took the kids (4 and 2) to the spring game. Have no idea what actually happened but can tell you the Dippin' Dots were the MVP. Tried to get the kids into some UK gear, ended up going in a Hulk tshirt and an Inside Out ensemble. Which, if you think about it, was perfect. On one hand you have a character that transforms into a raging murderous monster and on the other you have the simultaneous dichotomy of Joy and Sadness portrayed. They already get UK football.

As a matter of fact, if you could slap a UK T and foam middle finger on this guy:

I'd buy that Tshirt, doll, etc.

Inside Out is phenomenal. Best animated movie in several years. Dippin Dots are awful. That line was 50 people deep. Lol.

So, Anth hates Frosty Crème and Dippin Dots.

I'd say it's safe to say we can ignore any dairy takes from him ever again. Stick w/ Almond Dream "ice cream" or whatever fake/pretend organic crap is in your freezer.

Guarantee Joey has some good info on the future of Dippin Dots. Should take off any year now imo.

-Greaters is the one Cincy thing that truly is great. Their ice cream, particularly anything containing their monster chocolate chips, is pretty much untouchable imo.

Ran in to old wcc Friday at Keeneland. That dood is in love. Holding her purse and being the responsible one while she's tipsy. Good for you, buddy. She's awesome.

Lol, no.

Mine & Killa's college roommate dated the owner's daughter (from Paducah) for his entire pre-college life, back when he was making them in his garage as an experiment.

I've been championing Dippin Dots since you were at EKU. That's their slogan, idiot.

-Was the highlight of Six Flags as a kid, for sure. How anyone could hate those things is beyond belief imo.

Wine is such a ridiculous thing. A near impossible test to pass to say you know how wine is supposed to taste and whatnot? I mean can you imagine "sommelier" in other areas? Pretty sure everyone would laugh an orange juice or milk "sommelier" out of the building. (Not saying that doc isn't cool or I wouldn't watch it UCL, just commenting on how stupid the idea of a sommelier is)

Tbh, if wine snobs come and sit at the bar and expect a proper "wine presentation" I pretty much pop the cork(loudly and against protocol) and pour two glasses without letting them check the taste or temp. If they ask for a taste I put it in one of our plastic cups. #yesimadickbutsoarewinesnobssotouchthem

I got a photo of WCC holding ol girl's purse and he wasn't even offended by it. I think he was proud. Good job, wcc. You're so in love.

Raptors have lost 7 straight playoff games, which includes 4 at home -- despite being a good seed.

What a bunch of bums.

Hating on Dippin Dots, tsk tsk. They fill their role nicely. For a couple kids that had never had them and are obsessed with the ice maker at home, they are awesome.

Sat in the section right beside the football recruits on Saturday. I know they're 3-4 star kids but it's easy to forget just how small high school kids are for the most part. Granted I'm bigger than most all the guys on the field but some of those kids looked like babies. #Gettingold

Boo to the post game traffic both at the stadium and that ridiculous kite flying **** out at Jacobson Park.

Scratch came and sat with us at the game for a picture opportunity. Pretty sure that my two year old thought he was going to remove his headgear and Satan himself would be in there. Little man was petrified of the cartoon character.

- Hit Garage Bar & Harvest for dinner on
Sat with some other couples for a friend's birthday.

Garage Bar's patio is dope & they have a solid rotating tap menu but their service still sucks.

Harvest was solid. Had their pork chop topped with bourbon queso. Good stuff.

- Keeneland this Sat with the lass, my parents and sister/bro in law. Weather looks to be ideal.. 76 & sunny.

- Going to The Oaks this year for the first time since 09. Box seats. Looking forward to it.

Way late, but in support of rogue....I could pull down $800/week cash money in college, and that was at a freaking OCharleys. Fifteen years ago. Just crazy what some of these great service industry gigs can pay.

Don't get to brag much, so: ran a 100 miler two weeks ago with a friend. Did it very slowly and comfortably. Knocked out a 50 miler this weekend with no idea what to expect, assuming my legs would still be recovering. Ended up with a 9:21 pr. Finished 19th out of 120 finishers. Don't know, just felt good all day long and kinda crushed it.

Turbo-K turning 40.

Stayed in Houston by the airport Saturday night. Per Yelp, there are 7,329 Mexican restaurants within 1 mile radius of the Marriott Courtyard.

Jazz Fest this weekend. Pearl Jam. Eek.

What kind of service do you need exactly at a pizza & beer place?

You hate it b/c of the outfits and general hipster nature of the servers & clientele, just like you do pretty much everywhere else. The place (and service) is fine.

Can't imagine spending my vacation time and money on traveling to places to run 100 F@cking miles. What a dope

Lol @ old stuffed crust clamoring about being the first one on dip and dots. I've got this delicious new syrup filled COLA, goes by the name coke COLA, look for it when your'e out.

Chuckling at Anth talking about vineyard vines being on sale. Would love to see a documentary on what his old redneck buddies would say about him now. 0% chance they would even let him back in Shively now.
