The bigger question is why did an Afrikaans* speaker take that screenshot?

That girl who fell down a cliff down to KY River hiking at Raven Run. MY wife goes out there some.

I'd have to think her family will sue the city of Lexington. Can't imagine having a nature trail with a cliff that has no barriers. Girl was about to graduate Transy and was working at Crank & Boom.

Lolll

Sue nature! There ya go. Have you been out there? You can't fall off a cliff unless you're being wreckless. Much like all the folks from Ohio who come to the Gorge and fall off the cliff, I have to assume she was taking a cute pic and **** went bad.

I mean, the powers that be at the ACC have to be looking around at each other like, "is there a lemon law on this UL purchase?" It's enough that one of their flagship programs is being investigated for decades of academic corruption...but the new guy rolling in smelling of huers and sporting about 4 or 5 ongoing, connected, lawsuits/investigations. They have to be like, really?

We could have warned you about those guys, ACC. Should have given us a call.

It kind of goes without saying that one does not bring a lawsuit for defamation if there is any chance that what they have been accused of is true. The question then becomes whether or not Ramsey's "source" would be a sufficient defense for Ramsey to claim he was speaking in good faith and without a reckless disregard to the truth.
Please source be Jurich.

Her death and subsequent recovery were awful and sad. However, heaven forbid a nature trail have an easy to see natural overlook. It's nothing compared to trails at The Gorge. Been there several times, it's not dangerous but lets sue people!!!!

Man, me and my college buddies probably came way closer to dying up at the Gorge than we realize. o_O

Sleeping/sitting 10' from a death drop (Courthouse Rock) in a sleeping bag on a sloping rock, jumping over cracks, navigating little dangerous passages, walking around in the dark acting like fools...while drunk off our *** and "on" all sorts of ****. Good grief, what a bunch of idiots.:weary:

I get nervous merely *thinking* about that place, and all the things that could have gone wrong with us up there.

The big rock on the right is where we slept and set up camp, pretty sure. Ugh.

We did that but put up a pretty perimeter. Of course we all woke up in one tent because @firecrackercat puked all over the other 3 all night. Just kept rotating. So I imagine at 2-5a stumbling around up there was not good.

Jennings is my neighbor. As sharp as he is, I doubt he would leak anything, but if he did, he wouldn't be out bragging about it. The guy has done some pretty big things such as running McConnells office for years, and was even part of George Bush's administration. He is a veteran on keeping his mouth shut.

Just figuring that a tragedy like this on a cliff with no fencing or guard rails or something there to deter getting too close might have the family thinking LFUCG could've prevented this from happening. I'm not saying they should sue, but I'd bet they'll be looking into it.

I've never been to Raven Run but I guarantee there is some type of signage somewhere warning if the terrain.

Was 80 Proof on WLEX this morning at around 6:45 or so? Pretty sure it was him with a giant beard, but I could be wrong.

I saw that segment as well this morning with Lee Cruse. There is something extra creepy about Lee Cruise that just doesn't sit right with me. Wish 80Proof would've beat the **** outta Lee Cruz with a stapler. #Lurk

Haven't listened yet, but semi-read an article the other day that called his latest project somewhat of an "R&B Album"?

Like I said I've been there a few times and I'm not big on being close to cliffs. You would have to really try to have an issue at the overlook. I can't imagine why a guard rail would be out there in a NATURE trail. Again, crazy sad but most likely she was being reckless. First thing I said was, "where on the trail would she have fallen, you'd have to really give effort to get hurt out there."

The attendance at these games is an embarrassment. The NCAA should really consider having people move down so it doesn't look so damn empty.
Its unreal. The NCAA loves the 4 year guys but the young elite talent sells tickets.
