My girlfriend's randomass rapidfire texting style annoys the hell out of me. I have mentioned this to her no fewer than 100x, but my pleas to end stuff like this go unheeded:

Babe...
my hair appointment got moved to friday
my hair dresser is twin sisters with the girl in lexington who died last week

:(

First off- why can't that all be in one text? Secondly, why do I need to know this? What Friday are you even talking about? This Friday? The Friday I just booked us for a Keeneland bus trip? And who the hell is the girl who died in Lexington? What are you talking about? I asked for clarification an hour ago and haven't heard back. :chairshot:
I assume you just left out the myriad "hello???" texts in between

He shouldn't need a pro unless he has a need to be working in business related software.

My 2 has a great battery life and has been fine. I use my lenovo more because it's my work laptop but I'm switching to a Surface Pro when this thing dies. The Office 365 integration is really cool.

I'm kinda torn on Office 365. I still like having desktop apps to run. That said, I can do hours of work on the SP3 and it's just big enough to not drive you insane like a tablet normally would.

Drew Deener, vice president of ESPN Louisville, said he didn't have many details about the case.

"It's hard for the company to say much since we haven't seen or been served with any paperwork," Deener said in a statement Wednesday. "So at this point the CJ has been told more than we have about a lawsuit. I only know John feels like he had a rock solid source on this story and believes what he said that day because of that source. Beyond that, we would have to see what is in the lawsuit before any potential response."

So Mohammed Ali is his source?

20 regular season then who knows after that. We played about 25 during the summer tournament season last year.
It's crazy down here. Many teams don't play in a league because there are tournaments every freaking weekend. If they do then it is about 6-8 games a week through the end of June.

It kind of goes without saying that one does not bring a lawsuit for defamation if there is any chance that what they have been accused of is true. The question then becomes whether or not Ramsey's "source" would be a sufficient defense for Ramsey to claim he was speaking in good faith and without a reckless disregard to the truth.

I am not going to say that I find any current lawsuit being discussed in the general public recently funny, but I am not going to say I don't either. Someone close to Captain Suntan told me recently that a couple of years ago Suntan approached him and said that Tommy Turtleneck had hand selected him to be the "UL answer that takes down Matt Jones." The person I know listened to Suntan and then said to him, "Look Suntan, I have known you for a long time and I like you...but you aren't equipped for this. You can't do what they do." Suntan disagreed with him and said "just wait and see." What the person told me, but didnt say to Suntan was, "What I wanted to say to him is, you aren't smart enough to do it and you are going to end up hurting yourself by even trying."

Now I am not saying that has happened...but I am not saying it hasnt. From my very small legal background, the transcript of their comments on the air look like a "what not to do if you don't want to get sued" situation. You never say, "ITS TRUE" unless you know for a fact it's true...they said it many times. What you also don't say is something akin to "you can flush your business" away....because that shows malice...the one thing you NEVER want to show in a potential suit. I remember when I heard about those comments thinking, "Suntan is going to get them sued"....and then he did.

As for me, I am sure I will be brought into it somehow and I have to decide how to handle it. But I will not reveal my source...which I am sure will have journalists everywhere taking up for me as I stand up for the cause of the First Amendment (we shall see). The big point about all of this is because these fools have wasted so much time missing the forest (the fact that their school is enveloped in scandal and has the most corrupt President and Coaches in America in charge) for the trees (WHO IS MATT JONES' MOLE!?), the piper has come to be paid. I hate that relatively innocent people have been swept up in it...but I warned them long ago.

They're punished for staying 4 years in college because they're 22-23 at that point, Denzel Valentine is only 6 months younger than Anthony Davis.

They are "punished" due to age. If a college freshman is as good or close to it as a senior, which do you think will have the greater upside?

I realize that, gentlemen. But I would think a player as good as Valentine at 22 or 23 would be taken before some young buck who may or may not eventually grow to be almost as good as Valentine.

Whoa, this guy averages a triple double but this guy could be something special in 4 years… did you see his length?

I'll go ahead and take that as a request to have GYERO Law, PLLC on retainer.

as an aside, kinda interesting nugget there that Suntan's friends call him Suntan. Seems like he'd be offended by that.

My wife isn't a rapid-fire texter, but when I asked her to send me her last minute bracket for my office pool, she sent me 19 screenshots of her bracket from the CBS Bracket App to piece together.

It makes me irate. Rapidfire texting and inconsiderate a-holes slowly meandering through a crosswalk while the sign has turned red and 15 cars wait to make a right turn are my two biggest pet peeves.

There is absolutely zero shot Ramsey has a "source" on this **** other than THE YUM! I refuse to believe otherwise. He is a dumb.

Suntan doesn't say anything that doesn't come from the powers that be in UL Athletics...which means his one of defending himself (to the extent he can) is to throw them under the bus and say "I got it from Jurich"....how funny would that be. The layers here could be great and thick.

I find it hilarious on the UL board that they say that my emails and texts will be subpoenaed and that they will be able to "expose" that I was behind all of this. That honestly cracks me up more than anything. If they did get those over the past year (which of course I would fight for obvious reasons), they would find this

EMAILS (4 types)

1. Fans asking me for tickets/favors/help with online contests/charity events/anger because you don't talk about football enough

2. Political emails during my decision process

3. Spam

4. A long thread of my friends and I making fun of each other

TEXTS (4 types)

1. Radio planning between me/Lemond/STD, complaining about how screwed up everything is and how nothing works

2. Text chains with me, Drew, college friends and others texting very mean things to each other

3. Back and forth convos with girls that I probably shouldn't date but what are you gonna do

4. Sloot writing me asking when the Podcast will go up

And who the hell is the girl who died in Lexington? What are you talking about? I asked for clarification an hour ago and haven't heard back.

That girl who fell down a cliff down to KY River hiking at Raven Run. MY wife goes out there some.

I'd have to think her family will sue the city of Lexington. Can't imagine having a nature trail with a cliff that has no barriers. Girl was about to graduate Transy and was working at Crank & Boom.

I think GYERO pretty much nailed it long ago (but who didn't?) when they set him up as the "UofL Matt Jones", that it was to be an epic fail. The guy is an unfunny, uncreative, blabbering idiot that somehow has ridden the coattails of a relationship with Ali and the UofL athletics department.

Ha. Matt dropping a Sloot texting him reference.

Okay. A legal question. This has to do with the whole do you have to prove guilt, or prove innocence or whatever. So Jennings is suing. It is a he said/dumbass said regarding Jennings. Matt denies it was Jennings. But if Matt doesn't have to give up his source, does that help the Capt Suntan position because there is no proof that it was someone else? Or, does Capt Suntan have to prove that it was Jennings to win? In short, does Jennings have to prove it wasn't him, or does Capt Suntan have to prove it was him?
