Well, that's false.

Louisville has more quality restaurants than Cincy & it's not even close...your own Jeff Ruby said we have more on one STREET than your entire Metro, in fact, which is probably true.

You're just a simpleton who doesn't pay attention, or care to, and that's fine.

Cincy sucks, man. Shew. :100points: (OTR is cool though)
You have a Trump rally. Also, Jeff Ruby is a nut.

Favor? My nephew is the mascot for Morehead State (Beaker). Any chance you guys and lurkers would help give him a vote? Much appreciated if you would.

Tried to vote using an email from 10minutemail.com; but, after you vote you have to check your email to confirm your vote. Sorry, I tried, but I'm signing up for spam to vote for him. No offense.

Tyler Ulis would rapeaxe Ralph Beard.

Lol, it's hilarious.

Ralph Beard is a LEGEND, one of the best of HIS time...but all you have to do is pull up videos of those clowns.

Again, not their fault -- but the fact is players are just better now. Especially in THAT era...i mean, c'mon. Brandon Stockton would be Ralph Beard back then, it's a joke. Harsh, but true.

Tyler Ulis (or John Wall or Brandon Knight or whoever) is MJ compared to Ralph Beard. Sorry '73, I know you grew up idolizing him.

No disrespect, AT ALL. Those guys + Rupp made Kentucky what it is today, without them, we'd be nothing most likely. But you simply can't compare eras, at least when it goes back that far...not in basketball.

Ralph Beard would have about as good of a shot against Tyler Ulis as JP Blevins, :100points:, and probably a worse shot.

I don't think many American's understand that we really aren't taxed that much at all compared to a ton of other countries. I think we're like 25% below the OECD average for taxes as a share of a country's GDP. Whether you think we should pay less or not, it's just a fact.
No it's a statistic. Lies, damn lies, and statistics.

Another stat is that US's top rate including State and Local is 56%, which puts us above all but a handful of nations, and certainly well above the global average.

sometimes I think people on here go too far and don't realize they might say something they regret saying later on

cough, BBdK, cough

Last few times I saw him he acts like we are all good. I know I suck at GYERO, I get it, but let's not get personal.

EDIT - Back to lurking, don't want me posting, forget my name please. I only post on 2 occasions, UK redass, replying to personal attacks. I'm done with the redass posting. I will quit posting for good, and I'm serious as a heart attack, but know this, any Schembari is going to come back at you if you call them out. Born this way.

I know that all time starting 5 is mostly based on career achievements and winning, but based purely on how good they were while at UK, give me senior year DA as my 2 guard. I know the sample size is small but it was enough to win me over. He was electrifying that half year. Best player in the country.

Would you take DA over Steve Alford?

FTR, I have never cheered for IU or UL. I am pleased when they lose, especially in upsets. I just don't wish them eternal damnation. But if either fanbase attacks or disrespects UK, I pounce fiercely.

The frontcourt is set though. Issel, Davis, Mashburn. I know that leaves Givens, Walker, and Cousins out in the cold but those are the 3 I would pick.

If you wanted to actually win whatever game that team would be playing, Cousins would be in over Issel 100% of the time. And it's not close.

Yeah, you're right Chase. Like most UK fans, that Issel sentiment got me, but you're right. Cousins, Davis, Mashburn. Blevins and Tackett could be the backcourt and we'd be str8.

I don't know I don't think Ulis could get his shot off over Beard.

A senior Anderson for sure at 2 guard on my list as well. :boom:

I love DA, but anyone trying to place him for Delk --------------> #iubb

-catloserfanintheville -- this will be the last time I address you, but i'ts NEVER personal in GYERO, except for your posts. I'm a nice guy when I see you b/c I'm a nice guy in real life. Anyone who posts here knows that. Some of my best friends in real life, I pile on the most. They understand this, you don't. But, we know "the line". You're actually the only person who goes personal...don't think I forgot your little rant that you deleted like a *****. If you want to say it, leave it. Unfortunately, your last name won't save you here.

Otherwise, Chill out, or (preferably) stick to the D-League -- I won't go 'low' with you for obvious reasons, but just some advice. This is the last time I'll address this, I suggest you do the same...

*That 5 is the right 5, unless Ulis wins a title this year.

*I like Briscoe...great attitude, busts his tail, and basically been okay with doing a bunch of dirty work in exchange for getting to toss up a few ill-advised long 2's a game. That being said, in the current NBA I'm not sure he will get much of a sniff unless he can prove that he can shoot. These metrics guys, which is over half the league anymore, they have no place for anyone outside of freak rim protectors like Drummond or D. Jordan that can't space the floor. Hell, if Rondo hadn't grabbed a contract from the most inept team in the league, he would be playing for peanuts.

*Bill Simmons says his dad used to call Jeff Green "trick or treat" when he was on the Celts. One game, he would have 26 and 8, with 2 poster dunks and the next, 4 and 2, with 6 fouls...and said you could usually tell what kind of game it would be within the first 5 min. Alex is that. If we get bounced second round and he is walking off the court with 2 minutes to play with his lazy dragging his feet head down walk while the buzzer chimes his 5th foul, clocking 2 rebounds and 2 points it will be a bummer on the legacy of a good kid who has been frustrating but had some clutch moments for us.

*I used to say that Steve Czaban was #1 in my sports talk show host power rankings, but not anymore. I still appreciate his show but how much bitching can you do about NFL refs, the NFL in general, and instant replay? It's too much of IDGAF content for me.

*Add me to the list of GYERO faithful that enjoys Jones' podcasts, altought the Doyle one spent entirely too long on Greg and his issues...a little of that is okay, it was just too much.

*For politics, I literally have to keep my mind in the "look at Trump he is rubbing the political establishment's nose in the carpet, isn't this freak show fascinating" place in order to process this whole election cycle. Otherwise, it's terrifying. When you look at the choices we are offered, how insane you have to be on both sides to get attention. It's like we are swinging further to the fringes with every passing president. I've gone from arguing with Adrian's uncle that Trump would be out by now to believing that there is a very, very real chance that he is the president.

A few years ago when Trump had his TV show, I think we all understood he was a clown. No one really respected him, they were just entertained by him.

If anyone had said he'd be a front-runner for the 2016 Presidency, I'd say 95% of the population would've laughed in your face, and the other 5% would've been drooling on their shoes.

One of Cal's weird quirks is how he becomes Billy G with any injury related question.

The 25% lower was a lie, it's more like 10% lower. 26% of our GDP in 2014 came from taxes, only 3 other OECD countries had a lower percentage. Most other developed countries pay more in taxes than we do, I'm not sure why that may be upsetting. Yeah our top rate is 56% which definitely is higher than most but only about 1% of our country pays that. Almost half pays 0%. This disparity is where the issues lie. Wasn't looking to pick an argument, just saying that we don't rely on taxes nearly as much as other developed economies and that I think most Americans aren't aware. Hey let's go cats.

Most Americans are total idiots that we need to sate as a society. Otherwise, they'll figure it out and decide to really impinge on the lives of us who work for a living with untenable social unrest.
