Until then, I suspect Jensen making Jenica Lewis the top PG target in the ‘26 class had major influence. Having Halpering and the girl from Utah (IIRC) in for a visits probably signaled Greenway’s decision to move in another direction.
I thought Kussow was a good offer too but she committed to the Gophers.

There have been numerous lengthy threads about Greenway. Nobody wants to rehash her.
Long story short...Jensen prioritized Lewis even though it was widely known she wanted to leave the State for college.
Greenway got pissed and crossed Iowa off her list.
End result...Lewis at ND and Greenway at Kentucky.
Bottom line is Iowa will be portaling for a point guard in two years.
When did Jensen prioritize Lewis over Greenway? I hadn't heard that, so please enlighten me.
There are like 50 posts about it in the last year.

Maddyn was recruited as a pg, Jenica was recruited as a 2, It wasn't an either or situation, Iowa wanted and would have taken both.
This place used to be friendly.
Don't feel bad, there are a few buttholes on here. I think some are still ticked Greenway didn't commit to Iowa and get annoyed when her name gets brought up. Don't take it personal brother

Seemed like the ultimate vision was a Greenway, Lewis, Deal, MW, Ava super lineup.
No it didn’t work out but that’s the kind of recruiting strategy I applaud.
