The first protects you from the government not other people or entities. Aren't you one of the folks supporting the idea that NFL players should be fired for exercising their first amendment rights? Honestly, the owners could do that if they wanted, and it wouldn't be infringing on the rights of those players. The owners seem to take the position that doing that wouldn't help their bottom line.
