The last thing Scott Goodale would do is throw another RU coach or RU athletes "under the bus"...Goodale is in his 17th season here ( 221-96-1 ) and took a crummy D1 Program that acted and wrestled like a D3 team to a yearly top 20 finish and a top 5 attendance every year.

I mean, I can tell you for a fact lol. He was at the youth state championships all weekend and I know guys who were there with him. He doesn't care about basketball one iota.

There was a narrative about how that tournament didn't matter. Wrestling guys don't really pay attention to bball one bit

I think you might be a bit off about Goodale not caring about RU Basketball along with all RU Sports....Goodale is a HUGE Sports fan and he has a good relationship with Pike and Schiano and other RU coaches...He wants ALL RU Programs to be the best and is a big supporter and knows the better Football and Basketball are just helps the RU image...His sister Rachel played D1 Basketball for Monmouth and has over 400 coaching Wins at Jackson Memorial

I didn’t see an attack on a players character (performance is fair game) but I don’t care for attacks on players or coaches.

I mean, c'mon, you think he has a complete inability to read something on his phone and send a two second tweet? You can do that without needing to be paying attention to basketball. I don't know, or really care, what he actually meant, but he did say it wasn't directed at Pike, he didn't say it wasn't directed at the team - as far as I know.
