Iowa is taking some stupid ******* shots. Wisconsin's defense isn't even making them work, they're taking bad shots with lots of time left on the shot clock.

Love the way Wisconsin is dictating the tempo. That’s something either we could not do or chose not to do against Iowa.

It's not that uncommon. There's a difference between an "intentional" regular foul to stop the clock and/or put the other team on the line, like a reach-in, and a formal "intentional" foul (now called a flagrant foul), which is a foul using excessive force. As per the NCAA rules, "This offense includes the former "intentional foul" of fouling an opposing player to prevent an easy breakaway score."

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flagrant_foul

Yeah I get it. That's Wikipedia's take on it. It doesn't state the rule, just that its common practice to foul in those circumstances. Just not a point if emphasis.
Doesn't say its not an intentional foul or address when a coach announced it. Lol.

Now if coach says.."Now look were gonna get aggressive here and if you call a foul on us i won't get mad "..that's different.

Game is speeding up, Wisconsin doing good so far but might not want to keep this pace.

Potter pretty strong too. Garza not pushing him around. But Wisconsin bigs both have 3 fouls.

Garza has 17 and 11 with 12:15 left.

The problem is nobody else is doing anything. This is exactly what they did when they lost to Nebraska.

I’m rooting for Wisky because I think we pull ahead of Iowa both in the B1G standings and top 25. A Wisky win will help putting both these teams in the rear view mirror. Go RU!

Do you think Garza is having a typical Garza game? His legs are tired looking to me. Potter and Reuvers are making him work very hard for everything. He is missing shots he usually finishes. And his defense is not great tonight.

He's on pace for like 30 and 20. The problem is nobody else can hit a shot.

He always looks exhausted. Always.

if Wisky holds on they will have 6 quad 1 wins overall and 4 count em 4 Quad 1 road wins....their resume is excellent, even if they finish with 14 losses.

Looked like a charge on Toussaint to begin with, then he gets the all-time longest continuation call in college basketball history.

Iowa right back in it. Wisconsin playing too fast because Iowa is speeding them up. 3 point game. Iowa ball

17-2 run, just a major implosion by Wisky...going to be kicking themselves because they really didnt handle the pressure at all. Credit Iowa, they amped up the pressure and are a beauty to watch when their offense is rolling.
