We have a lot of practice in the media catching wind of something, taking certain phrases or events out of context making their own opinions into facts and blowing things way out of proportion to make Rutgers look bad. They don't want to see the Rutgers brand take anymore hits. That was a difficult time then and something like this is exactly what the media craves and will run with like they're doing now.
