Football GATOR BOWL THREAD: Rutgers versus Wake Forest

[RW90]

ST came to play.

[Scarlet1984]

Much better to be here. It’s a small but spirited crowd, watching a pretty entertaining game so far.

Have fun!

[Proud NJ Sports Fan]

Can you get your ratio of negative to positive comments down a bit. I think you are like 25/2 in this thread

nah
Just pointing stuff out

another dumb offsides

[Greg2020]

these offsides are a joke.

[Ronnie_B]

FFS enough with the offsides!!!!

[RUb-it-in]

Did he play at Wayne, or parochial?

Bergen cCatholic

[KnightFan]

A dropped int and Noah’s bad 2nd down pass for an easy TD , Two huge missed opportunities

We still are in it though.. and at least we seem to be showing some creativity on offense

it’s like we finally realized we have more than 5 pages in the playbook

[Proud NJ Sports Fan]

Can you line up onsides?

[scarletbergen]

SMH ... So you assume this was done intentionally where they actually sacked the QB on 3rd down which would have force a Rutgers' punt?

Watch the film!

[RUboston]

Enough. No more lining up in the neutral zone.

[Greg2020]

we can't blame robb smith this time

[Proud NJ Sports Fan]

Finally touched Hartman

[mikebal9]

It's 14-10. I'm enjoying the game. This is better than I expected.

[ashokan]

All the WF WRs catch with their hands

[Danprusa_4]

Need to hold them for a field goal here

[Proud NJ Sports Fan]

Enough. No more lining up in the neutral zone.

Don’t be so harsh on the guys

[Ridge 22]

Defense is pathetic so far

[RUAldo]

Why is holding even a penalty when refs never call it. WF is holding like crazy.

[Proud NJ Sports Fan]

Need to hold them for a field goal here

How bout an int

[rurichdog]

Oh boy...lots of unfortunate Sports Center moments so far

[rutgersguy1_rivals]

Good stop. hold them to a FGA

[rob kight]

A stop!

[Proud NJ Sports Fan]

Got him!!!!!!!

Mississippi reppin

[RUboston]

These WF receivers are big and athletic.

[RW90]

Yuuuge

[mildone_rivals]

D line is grinding. Hope they can keep it going, wear down the WF OL.

[RUChoppin]

5 offsides called so far

[RUTRINI_rivals]

I'll take it..Defense held in the red zone

[rufancoe00]

5 fing offsides....

[RUboston]

If I’m Schiano I say the next guy that lines up in the neutral zone takes a seat.

[Proud NJ Sports Fan]

Lining up Offsides again???

Just not smart , no excuse , what if he missed the kick

[leftoright]

Five offsides

[rob kight]

How many times can you line up in neutral zone? This has to be a NCAA record

[anon_xekqhstck0ygt]

the refs idea of neutral zone????

[ClassOf02v.2]

Maybe it’s the cock nose fooling these refs.

[RW90]

Do these guys not see the down markers?

[Proud NJ Sports Fan]

Is this officiating crew calling offsides different or something

[scarletbergen]

How many times can you line up in neutral zone? This has to be a NCAA record

Our guys must have been told to get as close as possible

[Section124]

The DL always lines up way too close. They are just asking for it. Notice WF line is usually a half yard back from the ball.

[rob kight]

Aside from everything, this is still a 1 score game.
