So you want a team full of new players like this past year? We see what that did. Having a team full of new players isn’t going to work like you’re thinking. Need some guys who know the system and can help the new guys adjust. Usually 4 or 5 is needed and Ware can be very valuable.

I agree but he was misused due to need honestly. He would be a great piece as a stretch four. The game we actually won with his shooting threes is how we should have used him all year. We need boards though and that’s not his game.

Why do we keep taking these players from another school? Is that how you build a team, or do you recruit good players, who will stay more then one year. Playing together more then one year, will allow the players to go from being individuals, to being team players. The players Cal recruits are only interested in one thing, getting to the NBA. That was so evident this year, especially with Boston. We have a coach who doesn't give a damn about UK, and winning a National Championship, only about getting players to the NBA. Is that what UK is all about?

What good player is not interested in the NBA. So Cal should recruit players not interested in the NBA. If they are not good enough to be interested in the NBA would they be good enough to play basketball for a Power 5 school?
