If NU can get up early and force Illinois to throw, this game will get ugly. Illinois has no WR's.

If NU can't stop the run, watch out.

Illini fans seem to think that this will be a 4-5 win season for them. They are looking at this game as one that could up that total and change how the season looks.

I could see why they would think that after beating us last year.. And agree if Nebraska can avoid dumb turnover early and jump ahead, Nebraska should win by a double didgets..

Sounds like one of their top WR's (Hightower) could be out with a torn ACL. I think Beason is questionable already and is more than likely out. Peters is not that good and if stop the run and make him throw we win with ease.

I just thought about how the road game may work to our advantage. It should allow the team to dial in and focus vs being distracted by the home crowd after a year with no fans.

I was actually thinking about this too. There’s a lot of pressure on Nebraska right now. They are favored in this game, lots of talk about being a must win game (make or break type of game), the investigation is hanging over the coaching staff, Scott had his pants pulled down by Trev. I think we come out tight, turn the ball over, & everything spirals. I pray it doesn’t go down like this but I’m not too optimistic.

I don’t think Champaign is some crazy nightlife town so hopefully Frost will be well rested.

If we can’t beat an Illinois team with a whole new coaching staff…as I said previously just Lane Kiffen Frost before he steps foot on the plane.
