We play too tight. Make too many mistakes. We don't play with swagger. If you want to forfeit this game thought you might as well cancel the season. I want to see us come out in this game with confidence and fight

I think it says we remained calm and continued to try to run our offense. But made a terrible pass.
We have to have some quicker pass plays. We don't have 5 secs to hold on to the ball. Should be 3 secs release
This drive. Muffed punt that stuck to the returner like glue, terrible snap that pops right up and back into Young’s hands, young heaves it and finds a receiver that lays out and catches it.

It tells me our offense is completely off their game this week and outside of the Texas A&M game that's been the story all season.
Will has been all over the place with the ball tonight. Two interceptions. Grounding. Holding the ball too long.
Receivers missing routes or will is not throwing it to the right spot.
Whiffing blocks or not paying attention to help one on one.
Defense is the same ole defense playing well but giving up the big play
Then he needs to throw it away or get his *** moving downfield but we can’t keep taking these absurd “sacks”.
This is the standard unfortunately. The A&M game was a complete fluke. We’re extremely fortunate to steal that one, but don’t expect much more of that. I don’t see a 6th win for this team.
Yeah unfortunately this defense can't kill on third down to get off the field and this offense doesn't have what it takes every game to put it in the end zone most drives to keep the game competitive. Our offense spotted them 14 tonight with two interceptions.
Leach won 2 this year he wasn’t supposed to (NC State and A&M) and lost two he should have won (LSU and Tiger High)…. That’s how he rolls.
Bama guy taunts...ref looks like he is gonna flag it but realizes Saban is lurking behind him so he holds it.

It's Bama, I won't hold this one against Leach. I think we are 5-7 max now. Before the season that was 6-6 max. I will say this, if we don't finish 6-6 If we can afford it Leach needs to be fired. If we don't go 5-7 he should be gone even if we can't afford it. I still can't believe we were stupid enough to hire him.
It means our gameplan doesn’t matter when the other guys are just better than we are.
We should only fire him if we fire Cohen first. Otherwise it's a useless exercise.
He will get 4-5 years. If this offense won't scoring consistently every game in the 30-40 point range by will's year he will be gone. They won't count last year against him. And it's not his fault Cohen hired an air raid coach that was a very foreign concept for State. That's on Cohen. So complete overhaul of the way team plays on offense. I still think he needs to adapt more to be successful here. I also think Rogers is a decent qb but i think his vision and awareness needs to get better and his arm strength needs to improve. He isn't the the talk qb with a gun or the the most athletic. Leach doesn't seem to like big strong qbs though with legs. I think his offense would be better if he adapt like his former assistants to use mobile qbs and more running spread schemes. That's not who he is though.
Rogers is the least talented air raid q b leach has ever had. He normally has a stable of 3rd , 4th and 5th year q b s .

5 years? If so the entire administration including the university president should be fired. I like Mark, and contrary to what this board seems to think, I think he has the university as a whole on the only viable path for us. There are a lot of people who can do that, without tolerating BS from the athletic department.
This is not your typical bama team. This bama team almost lost to Florida and got beat by unranked tamu. Our team just played like ****. They very well could lose to auburn and Georgia. Y'all are acting like this isn't a beatable bama team.
Again, they are the most talented team in the nation. In their down year, they still have more talent than any Mississippi State team has ever had or will ever have in 500,000 years…tenfold. A&M also has way more talent than we do, but the gap isn’t close to what it is for Bama. They are beatable when we play well, Bama is beatable for them when they play well….but there is no transitive property. The “unranked A&M loss” is such a stupid argument. Its totally irrelevant what the rankings are for anybody until the end. If A&M finishes 9-3 and ranked in the Top 12, does it still count as a loss to an “unranked team” when the CFP committee is weighing the teams? Hell no.
Not saying I disagree with you. I just think unless leach retires or we go 3-9 this year and next year he will be here in 2024 season.
Leach gets another season, but now is when we need to be looking for a competent AD to hire the next coach.
