I get he likes him as a player, but the portal is a thing now. Can’t sacrifice a season because you’re afraid to lose a player.

If you’re thin at the position you can easily go out and get a legit guard. Plenty of college basketball players would love to start in the B1G and play at the RAC.

We barely run any sets. I think people wouldnt complain as much if he regularly ran sets when in the half court. We dont really have any offensive identity. Like when you think of rutgers bball offense nothing comes to mind

Because they are all SOFT. There is not one player on the team that can finish at the basket. The only guy last year that could finish at the basket was RHJ. Cliff O has the weakest hands in D1 hoops

Simpson has more finishes going to the hoop than pretty much the entire team combined over the last few games, save Cliff's 50% play around the rim. Disclaimer: I only watched the last 90 seconds of the first half, but it doesnt look like I missed much. But my tuning in just happened to propel them to a 6-0 run.

NW hedging HARD on the high PnR and completely disrupting our offense. Time for Pike to come up with a new strategy.

Hers the play.....2 defender come up high to cover the ball. You bring CO high and then roll him down the lane hit him with a lob inside the foul line. The 2 wings sitting outside the arc hoping they make 1 out of their 20 shots the cut tonthe basket. LAYUP or LOB DUNK to Cliff as he continues to basket....even if they dont get the layup you will have 3 guys on the offensive boards instead of 2 of them being totally USELESS still standing outside the arc still waiting for their hope of hitting the 1 if 20 shots they take

It's sad that true freshman is more reliable than a 4th year senior.
