Hopefully more Langan and some throws from him. O is too predictable. Maybe a throw or 2 longer than 10 yards that ends in a completion.

Simplify the OL blocking schemes. All the plays getting blown up seem to be from miscommunications involving pulling lineman. The WR screens are working well enough. Just need to be able to run to pick up first downs.

A half that exemplifies how not to play offense. Seems to me that GSII is meddling in what Gleeson wants to do. I hope I’m wrong about that. For multiple reasons.

We have many of the same players and all of the same coaches yet we’re playing much more conservatively on offense. It doesn’t add up so I’m starting to wonder if you’re right about the meddling.

No, it was called an incomplete pass out of bounds, which stops the clock, but the refs missed the QBs knee being down before the pass, which, if called correctly, leaves the clock running. The 10 second runoff (avoided by a TO if the team has one) is a reasonable compromise, as Cuse would've likely got up and snapped a play quickly with no TOs left if it had been called correctly on the field.

Rutgers has plenty of experienced players on the offense.What they lack,however,is a quarterback that can complete passes down field.The opponents will continue to crowd the line of scrimmage and dare Rutgers to throw the ball down field while stifling the running game.Its hard to imagine Rutgers winning any B1G games with Vedral at quarterback.

This is Schiano ball. Gleeson is a go for broke full systems go trick play calling OC.

This looks like an RU offense from 2008. Clearly trying to win on specials and D. Typical GS.

You don’t go from modern play calling to Old school in an off-season after your best production in a decade unless you’re being forced to.

This was always the concern with Schiano. Control freaks don’t often give up control. It’s too hard for them.

Think he makes the right decisions, but just doesn't have the arm strength to execute the throws. Probably wins the training camp battles because of that. Against real competition we might need arm strength over smarts.
