You love blaming the players for Cal's mess. It isn't anything wrong with the players; it is all about the lack of coaching. Just curious, how many more years are you going to blame the next great recruiting class for Cal's coaching ineptness?

One problem is Wheeler is a turnover machine, but can't play off the ball because he can't shoot. Go Wallace, Reeves, Livingston, Toppin and OT.
We need to come up with a cheer about us enjoying the process.

Right now common sense just tells you to put in Thiero and Ugo.
The Ware thing needs to stop. If Collins cannot give you anything play Thiero as a small ball 4.

Cal is the major problems yea, but there isn’t overwhelming talent on this team, I don’t know why people can’t see that. This team is full of a bunch of role players, which goes to the main problem cal can’t coach teams like this. And with next year that team has the buildup of a roster cal us had success with. And okay I work with you here, where is the overwhelming talent in this roster. Wallace & Oscar are solid, after that it’s role player after role player
Why do people keep bringing up teams from 25+ years ago? That is never happening here again. Pitino for those 6 years was the perfect storm. Hell, you might as well say the 1948 cats would be up 25 now. It has about as much relevance.
As for the current team and coach, yikes.
That beach trip team would destroy this current team. Since the players are the same, the difference is the amount of time Cal has spent screwing with their heads.

Cal could coach Steph Curry into a shooting slump. This happens every year it seems.
I don't know what you call overwhelming talent. If Cal spent enough time with your pick of NBA teams, he would screw them up too.

Supposedly they didn't know about Allen being academically ineligible. Are we sure Wheeler isn't academically ineligible.
This Cal Coach Madness is just plain horrid. This teams does not even enjoy being on the floor. Cal has done his work. He has torn them totally down to nothing.
Now he will try to do his miraculous tweaks and such to bring them back by March/April.
He has taken the joy out of being a UK fan. He has taken the joy out of watching basketball.
2022 the death of Kentucky Basketball for me. I think i might be finally done with it all.
Maybe if and when we change coaches I will try to follow them again.
Just painful to watch.
