Sad part is we will be without Oscar in a lot of our games this year that whistle will not be his friend!
Part of that is a symptom of playing 3 bigs against teams playing a bunch of guards.
one big gets blown by and then everyone is in help/rotate/scramble mode so 2 passes later there is an open shot

One thing is he needs work harder to get his feet ready to shoot on the catch. He often takes too much time to gather himself, so he isn’t open by the time he does.
I read someone say that Grady needs to watch Rip Hamilton film and move like him…although Kellen may not be in good enough shape to run the defender into the ground the way Rip did.

He's recruited for us the last 6 years and it's made little difference. Meanwhile, Baylor, Nova, Gonzaga, UVA and KU are routinely better than us in that span and don't recruit as well.
It’s been a staple of his teams. He so in love with blocking shots it’s leads to defenders going for every shot fake.
And weak side defenders leaving their guy, going for a block, and giving up offensive rebounds. Year after year.
That movement and the pass to Oscar was the best offense I’ve seen all year. Guys have to be willing to keep moving.

The score and game runs literally hinge on Oscar. When he's in, we extend the lead.. when hes not, they pull it closer.
