That’s kinda my point, I guess. The only time Cal’s offense is good is when he has at least one (usually needs more than one) NBA level guard to just create offense for everyone…Mackey, Hagans, and Quickley could create off the dribble.

That offense was still the same thing…ISO, pick and roll, etc…one guy creates while everyone else watches.

Why can he not coach an offense when he doesn’t have that level talent?
I’m not sure it’s that. We have guards this year and when Wheeler has been good this year we have looked fine. He hasn’t played well this game. Unforced turnovers have killed us in this one. I know we gotta have more movement on the offense though.

Everyone so negative. I know it's frustrating to not blown out these teams every game. But ranked teams are losing to teams like Southern every few days about. We haven't. Not worried.

Right. There's something to be said about blowing out most of the cupcake teams.

This wasn't a great game by any stretch of the imagination. But we are walking out with another game in the W column

His Offence at UK has always been. Gooo make a play. Because that is what they do in the NBA. This is about getting them ready for the NBA. It has been since he has been here. Nothing new.

Yep, and I HATE watching his offensive teams.

It has never made sense to me that he recruits so many elite athletes but he doesn’t press and use that length and depth to his advantage.

If you are going to run a crap offense, then why not try to create transition opportunities where those athletes can flourish?

I'm with you, it's mind boggling to me how the SEC allows it.

They would never allow it to happen to Alabama football.

Ha ain't that the truth. Conference and Pro leagues protect the teams that make them money.. from Duke to Alabama to the Patriots to Golden State and the Lakers.. yet we're always dealing with absurd foul trouble under Cal

Played our worst game so far. Double digit win. I’ll take that.

At least not a double digit loss like UF.

Wheeler has been pretty bad tonight. He almost capped it off by letting a guy who had fallen down pick his pocket while still on the ground.

These dudes scored anywhere from 12-15 points very late in the shot clock. Like their coach they made some tough shots. Give them credit for playing hard and making clutch shots.

Why are you always so concerned about what others have to say? 99% of your posts are direct shots at those that aren't shouting rainbows and popcorn.
Just post your opinion about what you're seeing on the court and let others post theirs.

Vanderbilt versus Temple. I bet that's some exciting basketball. Cal should have to watch that from half court.

I'm going positive tonight...hell, I didn't pay attention and just assumed that the Cats weren't playing due to finals week...I think it's finals week.

Anyway, so what juggernaut did the Cats beat up on tonight?
