At least the D is running them off the line even if it’s a direct path to the rim

Come on Oscar don't let the guard stand there without your hand in his face. Did you not watch the first half?

When the Cats play with energy, they are a totally different team.
I agree with your other post. The collapse in the first half wasn't on Cal but a lazy team playing with no energy and focus. Zero defense.

Oscar has let the thought of not getting them foul trouble affect his game too much. He literally has spent hours and hours and hours and games and games and games trying not to get in foul trouble and you can see it in his defense. He can play much harder on defense he's choosing not to so he doesn't get in foul trouble. You can clearly see that's what his problem is on defense. He is easing up.
I think you just tell him to play defense hard and live with him getting foul trouble. It's screwing us up.
I mean you've already told him to stop trying to rebound coach Cal so might as well tell him to stop trying to escape foul trouble too.
You think we're stupid and we haven't noticed you back Oscar off the rebounding? Please ******* we see everything you're doing

No, we’d never blame the $9M coach with the lifetime contract, the players just themselves I guess.
I don't think anyone who has been on this site for more than 5 minutes know that I have no issues with blaming Cal. The crap that Oscar has been doing especially during the period when the lead was lost is unfortunately classic Oscar this season. When this team decides to play they play well; however, when they decide to be lazy they are highly effective at it.
