Oscar had 3 boards, cuz Chris had 15 and Jacob had 11. Lol, but big O with a smoooooth 25 pts on 12-13.

Our problem was defense and lazy pass turnovers this game. Clean those up and this is a comfortable 20 pt win.

We are now 327-13 when up 10+

I was worried we were going to suffer our 1st up 10+ loss of the year.

Our last up 10+ loss was at Auburn last year when took an early 10 point lead then TyTy got hurt over a year ago on 1/22/2022.

We were 302-13 after that game we have won our last 25 in a row since.

Just another note about our awful offense.
We scored 1.18 points per possession in this game. It was the 3rd best mark against the UF defense all season long.

CONVERSELY

We gave up. 1.06 which was............NOT GOOD.

There is a reason at Kenpom we are 14th on offense and 90th on defense

I don't see any way that happens.Cal will never try a zone and these guys just can't defend at all.

the crazy thing is I think if u asked most people at the beginning of the season, they would have said we would expect to have a good defense this season.

I dunno wtf happened.
I mean we've returned a bunch of dudes from a team that last year was ranked 36th in defense. We were told Wallace and Livingston were good defenders.

So it is a bit surprising.

We scores 82 points and shot over 50% from the field today.

Not down the stretch which was the entire point. Late in games we look tentative and lost, ball stops, movement stops, guys get hesitant to score. It’s not a sometime thing. Happens too often.
