Walters said yesterday was probably their best Wednesday they’ve had all year as well.
Need to approach this like it's our last game of the year. They'll get a week off after this game.
I'm surprised there isn't more excitement about this.. you would think this is something he says every week by the reactions around here.. oh wait..

I used to get excited when Osborne said Nebraska had good practices before playing some of those bowl games against Miami and FSU in the 80's and early 90's.
I heard through the grapevine that Tuesday could have been one of their best too...
After a few days of abnormal cold, and about 8 inches of snow, it's now turning back to decent. Snow is melting, sun is shining, supposed to be 50-55 for highs on sat/Sunday and the opening of pheasant season. I am pumped! I go hunting with another family who is from Geneva, so we will listen to the game on the radio while eating brats by the campfire and whiskeys will take over! GBR!

Coaches can normally get a feel for how their team is going to play during prep week. They are a bit more focused, quicker, energy, respond better, challenging each other. John Ross will probably agree at the HS level there are weeks when you can just see the kids going through the motions, not focused, and inside you are saying, " we are going to get killed if this doesn't get better."
He knew after his UCF loss earlier in the week he had to beat northwestern. Also great practice Monday.
So fans are just born with expectations auto-planted in their heads huh? There's definitely some nurturing by the media and, by association, the coaches in regards to fans' expectations.
I am really surprised we haven’t moved the QB under center but realize that creates other consistency problems given the lack of practice time. Obviously, the QB needs to be focusing on executing the plays and ditto for the linemen. It’s not happening.
Imagine how the cold weather Saturday will affect the snaps. On second thought, try not to think about it.

Honestly, does Frost seem like a guy that answers presser questions as if he's worried about managing over-inflated fan expectations? I like it, but then again I'm not ready to start panicking less than two seasons in.

Nah he just doesn't want Martinez to succeed. He is a bum and worthless according to nikkisux. Im sure he was high fiving his band of douch bags whem Martinez came up limping last game.
