Seems very similar there after a loss.
They don’t seem to like diaco. He was awful. We would be saying the same things about our coaches if we lose that way

Strange game. The Illini QB did to us what Langan did today to Purdue. We were going crazy because we knew he was going to run, he did, and we couldn’t stop him. Today, they knew Langan would run, he did, and they couldn’t stop him. As fans, we know exactly what the Purdue fans were going through today. What’s the expression - been there, done that.

Just went over to take a look. Pretty much in a "jump off the bridge" mode.
They do give a lot of props to both Schiano and Gleeson. Seeing a lot of Ash-like comments regarding Brohm and his contract.
One thing that bothers me are there are comments like "how could we (fill in the blank) against Rutgers"
Like it coming from us is worse then usual.
I guess after the last few years who could blame them.
My favorite thread title over there is "A team is beating us playing 1930's football."

😆 😆 😆

"How do these defensive players even look their girlfriends in the eye after Johnny Langan made them all his personal *****?"

An answer came back with wondering if they actually had girlfriends and not boyfriends

What is the link to their board?

I get a laugh out of this too. It’s freaking Purdue, they haven’t been good in forever. Is it really that big of a surprise they lost? Rutgers should have beaten Michigan and Illinois and did beat Michigan State. Are they any better than those teams, I would say no.

I think that board isn't too different than our board a couple yrs ago.
Multiple posters, like almost all game announcers and many here, are, however, ignorant of the intracies of the rules of the game. As an example, the targeting play was textbook but yet many of them thought it was BS lol.

I didn't think much of that targeting call.. but we have seen calls like that before. It was probably like that no-call play in the endzone where they could have called PI on us. Whichever way you wanted to go there was justification.. now that pick play call against us.. that was bad. Replay clearly showed our guy STOPPED and the player ran into him.

Screw Purdue and their fans. 2-0 all time in football. Swept their asses last year in basketball. Maybe they're just not as good as we are.
Yea seriously. When we joined the B1G I was thinking, well we’ll beat Purdue and Northwestern every game, hopefully we can stay at the level of Iowa/Minnesota, and occasionally beat a Michigan, Wisconsin, OSU

To be fair, we weren't able to run at will until the officials took the best player on either side (#55) off the field for the remainder of the game on a BS call.

Wasn’t a BS call at all. As soon as I saw I knew it was targeting . Good call , finally. Now the non call in the end zone where our guy was pushed ....that is one you should be chirping about.

Let's be clear on what we're talking about. So-called fans of Purdue Football are denigrating the student athletes who play football for that college, by demeaning them and challenging their masculinity for not playing football well enough to amuse the grown adult fans.

That's a bitter, mean-spirited, and self absorbed attitude. I don't see how anyone can claim to be a fan of Schiano and the culture he's building at Rutgers, and still find what those Purdue fans have said as humorous.

It is repugnant and disgraceful, and you're laughing with them.

More like ridiculous and sophmoric.
