A few weeks?!?! Tape it to another finger or use a splint and you're good to go. Seriously

Will Levis dis-located his finger before halftime of the Ole Miss game and played the ENTIRE 2nd half!!!

Could there be more to this than just the finger???
Tbf, I don't think that was his throwing hand was it?

This is CJ's shooting hand, And I know they said no ligament damage, but with a few weeks being mentioned, I can't imagine there's not a bigger concern. Maybe its a dislocation with hairine fractures? Who knows.

I hate it for CJ. Yet another confidence dinger.

But I can know look forward to downing a fifth every time the bastard says "I haven't seen him".

Wright sadly ain't coming back. He has the honor and integrity to step away from the game when he knows it's passing him by.
I mean he made a final four last year with a not so great Villanova team, they were okay not one of his best teams. But he is probably done coaching, drew(long shot) musselman or Lloyd are Kentuckys best bets

His style is perfect for now, he just didn’t wanna deal with all the transfers and NIL, that part is what passed him by I guess but his on court coaching works very well.

Fredrick was 3of 4 from 3 in the game before last. He definitely needs to be set up and be in rhythm to be his best from 3. Cal’s offense does little to set players up for good shots. I don’t blame Fredrick at all like some of you. The kid can’t help it if he gets injuries.
I was more talking about teams with a pulse, yeah the Florida A&M’s of the world he does okay in.

I think he needs a weak opponent that offers a no pressure situation. Has he hit a single 3 against a quad 1 opponent all year? Cal is at fault for our pitiful season thus far, but he’s not at fault for CJ’s poor play. At least not 100 percent. CJ lacks the athleticism and quickness to get himself open. He’s very easy to guard. He plays poor defense. Most of all he buckles under pressure. He does fine against florida A&M. But he’s pissed down his leg against every good team we have faced. He’s soft. I hate to say something like that but it’s true. I agree with you that he can’t help it that he gets hurt. That’s really rotten luck.

If their is a bright side from this, maybe cal finally gives theiro some meaningful game time
That's exactly why Thiero got minutes last game. We would have never saw Thiero had CJ not got injured.
Thiero definitely the better all around player. CJ was the best player at feeding the post. Going to miss that. And for a team that runs everything through Oscar that's a loss.

I’m just trying to wrap my head around all this. We are struggling at the 4 and Cal wants to play Thiero a 6’6 guard more. Then we lose a SG and he says Collins (a 6’9 forward) more.

What’s next? Going to run Onyenso at PG? Wheeler going to backup Tshiebwe at the 5?

Does Cal live on Bizarro World or something?
Positionless basketball 😂

This is why college football is a much better product than college basketball these days. I can barely stand to watch it anymore.

Cj is good as a bench guy that plays 8 to 10 minutes a game. I would like to have him next year for leadership but he isnt playing over Dilly, Wagner, shep and God knows Jackson if he reclassified. Now damn that's a set of guards even calipari can screw up.

What is hard to figure out (or maybe not so hard to figure out, depending on who you are), is why was CJ so much better at shooting the basketball at Iowa than he has been here?

If I couldn’t stand anymore of Cal’s “coaching”, I’d probably dislocate my finger too!

Season ending injury for me, and probably CJ too😂
As soon as his engagement was announced, I knew it was only a matter of time. Dude is pretty much finished with Cal and BB.

I will say, being his shooting hand, for a 3pt shooter, those fingers are very important (unless you are Wheeler and push the ball there with your palms). So even if he could play, which I imagine he could, I'm not sure we would want him to (a guy struggling with his shot to play with a condition that will make the shot worse).

Has anyone went back and looked at his Iowa stats, separating into games against P6 schools vs games against cupcakes? Maybe this is what he does, except at Iowa it was 55% and 40%, and at UK both are down about 10%.

I haven’t. But I’m guessing he got more open looks there.

He shot 43% from three against Power 5 teams as a freshman. Had plenty of big games vs. solid Power 5 teams.

That was my point. Just like Tubby didn’t want to deal with AAU ball.
