So Instead of admitting you are wrong and don’t know ****, you post some pic of a towel. Seems pretty on brand. Congrats on that gift last night.

We’ll they’ve called a delay of game penalty on defenses for the same thing for years. I think you’re getting a little too hung up on the “disconcerting signals” description.
Joint possession is generally something that happens when a receiver and DB both have possession of the football, the ball goes to the offense. I assume that’s what happened here they both equally possessed the ball, so the ball goes to the offense.
I don't think I've seen a call against the defense for clapping. And Nebraska lived through Clapgate against MSU back around 2011 or so, and Iowa in 2020. And be honest, when have you ever watched a FOOTBALL game and heard a call of "joint possession"?

Sure, let's blame the refs again for another Scott Frost loss.

It was a Nebraska loss, you know the team you supposedly support. And yes we were on the *** end of many calls (some bizarre) that directly impacted the result of the game.

How many PI calls did they have? Works both ways.

But it didn’t work both ways. The phantom PI call on JoJo put points on the board for Michigan. I don’t remember UM called for even a remotely controversial PI. I get the frustration over Frost. But we were absolutely F’ed over last night. It shouldn’t be a given that we have to overcome BS officiating to win a football game like this, no matter how we feel about the head man.

What are your coaching credentials please? Why should we listen to you? You’ve made it clear you know more than the rest. I assume you’ve coached at high levels to make the claims you do.

OK, so at the end of the game we pissed it away when we had a chance. That is on AM and the coaching staff.

BUT

If you think we weren't playing against a stacked deck, watch the play where AM was stripped and pay attention to how long he was stopped and having the ball ripped at.

Then watch the play on the following drive where we stood up their RB and started ripping. Whistles were blown almost instantaneously when he got stood up.

We had a chance to win it and blew it, but son of a gun the officiating crew did everything they could to make it more difficult.
We’ve benefitted from yanking the ball out as a pile is getting moved

Exactly and what the F - - k is a joint position… In all my years of following and watching football I’ve never heard of such bull **** because the officials counting get enough players off the pile to make a damn call..

Defensive Delay of game just happend in the Alabama vs A&M game. And yes I’ve seen it happen before where both the receiver and defender have simultaneous possession of the ball, it always goes to the offense

Last year Iowa was blatantly doing it in an empty stadium and they were politely asked to stop at halftime and they are still bitching about being asked to stop. Now tonight we are called for it. This conference never ceases to amaze me.

From the ESPN article about the game:

"I'm not going to stand up here and make excuses for myself," Martinez said. "Can't be careless with the football. I thought the play was over. I was standing as I'm standing right now, and I thought it was done. But regardless of that fact, I feel a lot of responsibility and can't make plays that hurt our team."

Nebraska coach Scott Frost did not want to discuss the officiating, saying only, "Adrian's a warrior, and he's an unbelievable player. I hurt for him. I don't know if his momentum was stopped or not. We can't expect to get those breaks. We've got to make them."

Martinez thought the play had been blown dead. Frost correctly states that you have to make your own breaks.

Michigan and Iowa trolls would be complaining the exact same way if it had happed to their teams. That's just the way fans behave.

Go back to the Iowa/Nebraska game 2019. Iowa is driving late and Mehki Sargent is stacked up and the ball is stripped in the same circumstance. Ask yourself if that one was ok. If so, this one was ok. If it wasn’t, Iowa was screwed. It happens every game.
I don’t understand why you are here.

Play until the whistle! This is football 101. There was no whistle, don’t assume the play is over. Also I love how he says there are no excuses and in the same breath gives a excuse. Watch the replay to see if he was standing as if behind the podium. Always someone else’s fault.

Why are you here? Iowa’s best season in forever and you still feel the need to talk **** on the Nebraska board. Pretty sad.

Speaking of PI. Does anyone really think this is a PI call on a Nebraska opponent. Just giving UM points. Ridiculous

Yes, that was the worst call of the night. Still should have stopped them earlier on that drive so they didn't even have that chance.

People complain about not going for a FG to start the game but yet this phantom pass interference call costed Nebraska 4 points at the half..😡

This is exactly what I'm whining about. They swallowed their whistles while the QUARTERBACK was defenseless, yet were so anxious to blow it for the Michigan ball-carrier that they did it before he was even down.
Trev needs to make a well documented protest of this and the Doman interference call. He should do it in person wearing his #34 uniform, with pads and helmet. It would still look pretty darn good on him.

That ball was simply thrown away by their QB. He did a good job of doing that all night when nobody was open. Uncatchable ball

Went both ways. Illegal formation on the TE touchdown pass and The DE was offsides on the UM interception.

Haha!

Remember when Kirk F was like totally shocked about the clapping stuff.

This is how I look at it, in baseball if your signals get stolen, it is on you to change your signals. In football, if your snap count is getting stolen, it is on your to change it.

No flags.

Great angle bucko, how can I look at his feet with that clip?

And yeah, you still suck.
The clip plainly shows his feet moving forward. He was hunched down trying to gain more yardage, not standing straight up. You can't just will facts to be what you want them to be because you don't like them.

When? And the pile was not getting moved. The very next series their RB was still fighting for yards and they came running in waving their arms and blowing their whistles. It was a ******** intentional late whistle. As long as we're playing a team that still has a shot at getting in the CFB playoff we won't get ANY calls from B1G officials.

Well duh… how many football players do you see standing straight up in a pile? That doesn’t mean his progress wasn’t stopped. You said it yourself. He was TRYING to gain more yardage. But he wasn’t going anywhere.

Last I heard, if you aren’t making progress even if you’re ‘hunched down’, that’s when the officials blow the whistle.

Have you ever watched football before? Sure doesn’t seem like it.

Good thing you’re not a rules official. You must be new to football, the defense trying to induce all false start by imitating the snap count has always been a flag (generally it’s an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty). It’s bush league

If Martinez really thought the play was over (doubtful since he was still grinding his legs), then he has learned nothing in his life of playing football. Rule number one is the play isn't over until you hear the whistle.

You mean like when the defense runs up to the line and back out, over and over...

Or when the QB yells out really hard to try and get guys to jump

Or when the offense using hard motion to get guys to jump.

Or when the DL switches spots really fast to try and get the OL to react.

Being a virgin is one thing but thinking that this **** doesn't go on to gain an advantage just makes you look like you are, what was it, "new to football"

Michigan had the ball before forward progress was supposedly stopped, which isn't apparent. Had he broken through as the whistle was being blown and then scored, you'd be bitching that a TD was stolen. The videos from all angles plainly show the opposite of what you think. Dig in your heels all you want, but objectively you are wrong.
