Would prefer that to be SC, specifically Greenville County, so I can get my daycare raise I’ve been planning on.

Dont trust that dipshit. He is better at making **** up than most on this board. FL has probably had more days with 100+ dead than any state over the last couple weeks. I wouldn't call that stable. And FL has had multiple days over 10k cases. 1 day under that is not a record. It is an anomaly. If they stay under 10k the rest of the week, lets celebrate.

But don't believe a ******* thing Clay Travis posts. He's the opposite of the other media people ***** about on here. He makes **** up or skewers stats to make his point look good.

Spike is coming in 2 weeks.
Second wave spike appears to be slowing. I just hope it’s due to masks and a better understanding of what this is.

Awesome news and hopefully we can continue the trend and get the economy back open while keeping people safe.

Who gives a **** who posted it. State level DOH data is about as good and accurate as you’re going to get in this situation. The trends for COVID suspected cases are all going down.

Everything he said is backed up by the state gov stats that he posted. Clay is a tennessee turd but he is posting stats/facts and not fear mongering, we need more of that.

One thing that he pointed out that is correct is the numbers for Florida are no where near as bad as NY even though the media seems to be portraying otherwise. Per Worldometers, there is not a measure per 1M population that has Florida near or worse than NY.

I'd encourage thoroughly reading the data in the link. Clay Travis habitually posts statements that don't jibe with the links he provides.

Expect a spike tomorrow. Florida cases have been notoriously low the last few Tuesdays and Wednesdays compared to the surrounding days. If % positives remain low or dip again, that'll be something good

I am heading to the keys Saturday for a week. I have been watching this like a hawk and the media never fails to disappoint me. I google "Florida covid cases" every day for the past 2 weeks and the first thing that popped up all last week was CNN, NBC, or some other news outlet screaming about consecutive days over 10k cases and how it's spiraling out of control.

Yes, the cases are higher than anyone wants.
Yes, the hospitals are being pushed to their limits.
Yes, the deaths are higher than anyone wants.
No, they are not out of room in hospitals.
Yes, things are beginning to slightly improve.

Well....
The cases hit 2 consecutive days under 10k for the first time in 2 weeks today.
The peak case count was July 11 @15,225.
The peak %positive was on July 8 @18.53%.
The current %positive is 10.55% and has been on a downward trajectory since July 8.

Not a peep from the media about that. Things are flat or improving. I'm sure there will be outlier days here and there but the overall trajectory is looking positive.
Source is the State of Florida DOH. Updated every day about 11 AM.

This kind of sums up our C.J. system: "His criminal history includes 230 felonies with 15 convictions, 26 misdemeanors, and 2 trips to state prison. He has several assault and battery charges, armed burglary charges, and weapons charges."

How the hell was he out of prison?
Out on bail for assault. Breaking a guy's arm with a crowbar. Needs death!

deaths lag. the earliest indicator that it's headed the right way is patient complaints at intake. that being said, it's obviously not time to hang the banners quite yet, but any good news should be celebrated. more people than ever wearing masks and the numbers coming down!

Yes. Slightly.
Official Florida DOH numbers.

http://ww11.doh.state.fl.us/comm/_partners/covid19_report_archive/state_reports_latest.pdf

Page 2. First chart. Number of positive cases by day.
Page 2. Last Chart. % positive for new cases.

I would say it's improving from a case count perspective.
I would also say it is improving from a % positive standpoint.
Deaths lag.

In the last two weeks, there have been 4 days with more cases than the week before and 3 days with less. I don't see that as improvement, and certainly not enough for the idiot Clay Travis to throw confetti over.

as a liberal, let me say that I’d love good news. I want Trump gone as much as anyone but I’d gladly trade that for the 142,000 lives that we’ve lost.

But what just makes me shake my head is the way you conservative snowflakes try to project your own failings and insecurities onto us.

The reason we’re where we are is because conservative snowflakes like you, led bu Trump, refused to listen to expert or the truth and, instead, listened to political hacks like Peter Navarro.

The truth is that today, 1,100+ Americans died. Today, we set a record for new hospitalizations. Today we had the third highest number of new cases.

Today, no other country in the rest of the world - outside of two other countries with autocratic conservative ******** leading them (Russia and Brazil) - had anything like that.

So you’ll pardon me if I don’t get excited about some cherry picked stat from an idiot like Clay Travis - particularly from a stare with a governor who is so clearly willing to doctor the data.

Us liberals want to have Americans not be dying. We want to be able to go out to eat in restaurants. We want to be able to watch Clemson football this fall.

The reason we can’t have those things is because idiot conservative snowflakes, like yourself, Clay Travis, and the president, put your weird ideology ahead of the truth and ahead of what’s right for America.

My parents both have bad COPD. My in laws are both cancer survivors. If any of them get COVID they’re in trouble.

When we actually start seeing progress in tackling this virus, I will be the first to celebrate. But I’m not going to give fakes applause when our country is failing so much that Mexico, Canada, Britain and the Bahamas (among others) have closed their borders to us.

But we’re unlikely to make progress as long as conservative snowflakes like you think it’s more important to own the libs than protect the lives and livelihoods of Americans.

So congratulations on your ignorance, snowflake.

Let’s talk about your ignorance. You’re backing a candidate who wanted to keep travel open from China and Europe when Trump closed it. Care to take a guess how many more deaths that would have caused?

You do realize that Trump didn't exactly "close it" right? There were tons of exceptions from China that were allowed in.

that is, of course, 100% a lie.

And when Trump “closed” travel from China, he still let more than 50,000 more people in from China. This is after resisting the calls from his advisers to close travel from China for more than a week.

And then he did the same thing with Europe.

so, wrong again. I know it’s a hard thing for conservative snowflakes like you, but maybe try reading for once instead of just parroting Fox News’ ********.

That's a very Christian approach.
I believe you need to attend a Biblical Bible teaching church. In case you didn't know the Bible gives verses for taking a innocent man's life also. So yes it's very Christian like. Have a good night.
