You wanted our interim HC that was coaching HS 2 years ago to call out another HC in a postgame?

IMO this was worse than what harbaugh did to us when they put up 70

On what planet in what universe is a 42-7 loss worse than a 78-0 loss where Michigan literally disemboweled us?
If you honestly think yesterday's loss was worse I suggest you seek help immediately.

Up 35-0 with less than ten minutes in the game and their starting qb throws a 56 yard pass to the most heralded receiver in their history. Not classy, and risking injury, but they need to show results for the voters. They are 7-0 with their best win a 4-3 Nebraska so they needed to run it up a bit. Don't care for the pass, do like the EL T-shirts.

BTW we attempted a late on-side kick. If we’re still pushing we can’t expect them to just roll over.

P.S. It is interesting for me to see PJ Fleck yesterday and compare it to all the negative posting from a few on this board the past few years. I must say I don’t get the negative. He handled himself pretty well yesterday and I wish he was our post Flubb coach!

Fleck will come back to reality next year when his entire D line graduates. IDK if he could have gotten it done here. Not sold on him

Not to take anything away from them, but DL isn't Minnesota's strength. Enough of the best players are coming back so that if Fleck's younger recruits develop, the team should be improved next year.

That is all.

Hahahahaaha you must of been raised believing getting a participation award is acceptable, haaa! Play to win, run the score as much as possible if it be ifits your team’s chances with the rankings. If RU has a problem with it, then tell their defense to stop them. Its that simple. This IS football. Not mercy ball. GTFOH pitty me party BS. Tired of these noncompetitive mercy rule chump posters. Man up and stop them, or cry your *** back to the locker room.

Not at all. But there are ways to go about it.

Going for it on 4th down when you can very clearly take the FG. And dropping back and tossing a 56 yard bomb like that is not classy IMO.

The only reason people aren’t agreeing is because of his RU connection.

RU connection has nothing to do with it. You're overreacting as usual and not liking the blowback.

There wasn't an RU player within 10 yards of that receiver. What did you expect the QB to do, not throw it? Coached a lot of womens'/girls' soccer and softball over the years. We would instill in them when you have somebody down you step on their throats.

Frankly Fleck was probably embarrased he was only ahead by 35 points. Thats usually a halftime lead for our opponents.

I don't have a huge problem with the pass, because they are trying to impress pollsters.
However, if it was a certain school in PA doing the deed...I imagine the responses would be a little different.
Like in 1995.

That pass was thrown so that PSU would cover the spread, and after Paterno had a conniption fit on the sidelines following the last RU TD.

Everyone cried when Michigan did it a couple years back, except they were running the ball.

I was watching the game with two guys that have zero connection to RU and they both said the same.

Why is every opposing coach, who keeps starters in during routs of RU, considered a scumbag? Art Briles and Petrino are examples of scumbags.

We're playing P5 football; you either come to play or you get embarrassed. Unfortunately for us RU has not come to play very often the last 5 years.

There is a huge difference between 35 and 78, even at that, he call the dogs off after that play.

Very True. Paterno wanted to cover the spread and was upset that RU had scored to make it possibly not happen.

Best of Luck,
