One thing I've learned over the years when dealing with a collosal shitstorm is that you should focus on the most fixable things first. This team isn't going to win many (or any) games this year (except BC), so start benching players that make unforced errors for a quarter or two. NU used to always win the penalty stats (accounting for a difference in yardage that might well be worth a full touchdown over the course of the game). We lost this discipline in the Pelini years and never regained it in the intervening years. We've paid a heavy price in games against teams with similar talent (which is now Akron level). I'd like to see Scott really crack down here even if it means playing the 3rd string for a quarter.
