Who was 280 pounds? Loren Howard? Barry Cofield? They got hazed too, albeit minimally. Loren even got preferential treatment IIRC. He did too much juice and had too much anger for the older guys to want to try to fight.

I was 320 pounds as a freshman. Rick McDole was 335. Nick Ritter was 300.
We got hazed until we proved we belonged.
Others? They got hazed until they left the program.
For the record: Lou doesn’t even remember me. Cappy does: we were both in McCormick together after I quit the team, and I attained some measure of happiness as a Northwestern Engineering student.
